I have to agree that consciousness cannot be destroyed. I do believe in reincarnation not necessarily karma though. I also agree that we have created many religions to get around death. Very true because people are afraid of it. I've had a near death experience and it's nothing to fear.
Forgive me for intruding, this feels rather like a private conversation, but there are a couple of things I'd like to say.
Actions have consequences. It is our perception of them which makes them 'good' or 'bad'. Personally I think great wealth can often be a state of spiritual and emotional poverty. Karma is not a paying as such, more an action/reaction, rather like a chemical reaction. It is only our judgement which colours it.
Energy and consciousness are intertwined. For example (more)
as I watch this video I am receiving your energies, your consciousness, there is a sharing going on. I feel your mood, the content of what you say, your essence, I am changed by it, in however minimal way. Part of you becomes me, and if you read these words the same will apply, you will 'inhale' a scrap of that which I may define as me or my consciousness. We really have far fewer edges than we imagine.
