  • 0:38 was SO awkward. Bill's face looks so worried that this is reality lmao

  • O MY FU*KING GOD 0:34!!!!!!! lolololololololololololololol

  • hello brain tumor ..

  • im going to go to the bathroom and come out 5 pounds lighter! haha

  • Religion is a plague and God wants it stopped. Jesus Christ came to destroy religion by conquering sin on the cross. Now all can trust in Jesus Christ, not man or religion for a new mind, new ways, and cleansing.

  • it's not a mockumentary it's a documentary...a mockumentary is acted out to look like a documentary like the office

  • Both Athest and christian alike seem to believe there is an argument. that must be resolved throgh the witt and intellectial ability to out do the other . that makes me conclude that Im not smart enough to be either. There for if you dont have the capacity to believe you go to hell? Thats not a very loving God

  • Origin Sin in the Bible is about Mary committing adultery and tricking Joseph into thinking her becoming pregnant was gods will and she's a virgin. She had an affair and poor Joseph was fooled. That is, if you believe all of this is true which is very likely not. After all, there were really no records kept of people ruled over by Romans.

  • I saw a Jesusaurus Rex

  • dude i just finished george orwells 1984, religious people are stuck in doublething, i swear it

  • @cyrusjerome doublethink*

  • @cyrusjerome I wanted to write a satire on religion. Then I realised the great satires on religion have already been written, and they are Animal Farm and 1984.

  • @NevilleRhysBarnes animal farm was based on communism??? -.- and the works of the ussr? 1984 i can see your point but wtf makes you think animal farm was a religious satire?

  • @TheAndre2200 I can't see what your replying to, but Animal Farm is entirely metaphorical towards Russian evolution towards communism, pre-USSR. I don't know how that relates so much to religious satire, but many of the characters in Animal Farm were meant to be parallels towards Lenin, Stalin, etc. No obvious connection to this video or religion that I'm aware of though.

  • The best part is the hillbillies watching the Jesus show.

  • "Be able to circumnavigate or go around the person's intellect."

Oh no, they've found we're using our brains! Quickly, launch the War on Christmas!

  • "We don't push our beliefs on people"

Can I have that in writing, please?

  • wow the priest is smart

  • Original sin is not in the Bible? Yes it is.

  • Benjamin Franklin tells it like it is

  • Surely it's been said by now, but I find it hilarious that the little boy at 3:04 is dressed up as a roman soldier instead of a beggar or Jesus or something.

  • Bet she's still waiting for that rapture & white horse deal for a long time. Religious people: keeping sane, rational human beings entertained for 6,00 years (Because that's when the Earth was created apparently)

  • I use to smoke crack with dude at 1:40

  • THE STUPIDITY IS I CANT PUT NTO WORDS HOW STUPID THESE NUTS ARE

THEY PUSHED THE BOUNDARIES THEYRE BEYOND STUPID

  • The sad thing is that they really believe this crap.

  • That woman, she's gonna go into the Rapture and she's gonna come back on a white horse.

    Dontcha know.

  • If you are going to Rapture, better carry a big gun in there lady, 'cause Fontaine will be all over the place!

  • @VonManavis LOL!! I was going to write a similar comment but it looks like you beat me to it!

  • @voldmerot he read some books, found out some facts and then made the only decision those facts allow, that "god" is a man made idea.

  • ThE GUY PRETENDING THAT HE WAS TALKING IN TONGUES WAS PRICELESS!!

  • @BlackBNimble I LOVE YOU

  • During the sequence set inside the Dome of the Rock, Bill Maher and his guide are approached by two men who speak in Arabic and are supposedly objecting to Maher's presence. In reality, what they are saying is "We don't normally hang out here..." and "The boss only gives us five minutes..."

Additional people interviewed on the "Deleted Scenes" section of the DVD release:. Howard Bloom (anti-Muslim Jew, author of "The Lucifer Principles").

  • - you block embedding because what, the content is yours?

    ...you're a real artist.

  • @0:34 "you don't have to pass an IQ test to be in the senate though"

we're fucked (and i don't even live in the US)

  • ...youtubers that disable video embedding suck. this means you.

  • @GreenionLeafluster I wasn't aware that I had. Had you pointed it out nicely I might have bothered to change it. So the sucking bit is all you.

  • @voldmerot: If you watch the movie, he himself says he is not attacking anyone, but asking questions and trying to figure out why people belive what they do.

  • @voldmerot wwoah woah now im christian but this is exactly what me and him are against, ill guided assumptions and labeling people dangers when he is peaceful. im sure your response may include carping comments, but please be logical.

  • @Woahimdead07 what do you want? I don't seem to understand. You are a christian and you agree with what he stands for? Clearly state your cause.

  • @Woahimdead07

Thank you for being one of the very few Christians who are actually Christ-like.

  • @voldmerot Poe?

  • @voldmerot

I wonder what happened in man's past to use dogmatic fundamentalism and the fear of eternal hellfire to justify a belief that can easily be refuted by rationality and science. Oh, that's right, The Dark Ages.

  • @voldmerot Those of us who don't buy the stories that we were taught in Sunday school are subjected to Christians pounding their bibles all over our laws. Why is it okay for Christians to preach god, and not okay for anyone who believes differently to talk about our beliefs? And the answer is NOT that the Christian god is truth, etc...it is merely a story that a lot of you believe without any proof. If Christians weren't so militant in their beliefs, atheists would not have to be so defensive.

  • Warren Jeff the Mormon prophet and god's representative on earth had made an audio tape of himself having sex with 5 teenage girls. In this tape he could be heard telling the girls how to suck his dick to please the Lord .wow and there are still people who believe in this crap called religion ?

  • @AntiEverything00 u generalize religion to the action of one corrupt human being?? how evolved is that?

  • Take away the religions, belief systems, faiths, and secularism and you have two or more groups of people appearing as children yelling at one another who has the best club in the biggest tree house. Atheists and Agnostics in general claim they are more intelligent than theists, while having better morality. Christians and other theists claim to be more spiritual and have a higher morality than non-theists. They have different core beliefs, but carry out disagreements alike, in general.

  • @CosmicGrounds You do realize that Atheism and Agnosticism are not mutually exclusive? Atheism is a rejection in the belief of gods. As an atheist, I reject the laughable gods, and their similar stories, that humans have invented. Agnosticism is about knowledge. When it comes down to it, I cannot say with 100% certainty that there are no gods or deities (would be dishonest and ignorant). This would make me an agnostic atheist... and most atheists tend to fall into this category. (cont)

  • @JeanetteTherese Oh, thanks for reminding that Agnostics and Atheists are not alike. /sarcasm.

I never posted that the two are mutual.

  • @CosmicGrounds As a christian, I would assume you 'know' your god is true? If so, then that would make you a gnostic theist.

"Take away the religions, belief systems, faiths, and secularism." This makes no sense in relation to the rest of your comment. I take away the 1st 3, then there would be no christianity or theism in general, and atheism/agnosticism would not need to exist. Secularism is just the view that religion should not interfere with civil affairs. Understanding definitions is key.

  • @JeanetteTherese Yet you missed the entire point of that post...luck with that self-righteous arrogant attitude you carry around. It doesn't matter whether people in general are Theists, Agnostics, or Atheists, take away those and you find a bunch of people shouting about one being morally, intellectually, and/or spiritually/mentally better than the other. Other than core beliefs folks are all the same.

  • @JeanetteTherese The difference between you and me is that you're considering others who truly believe in Christ as weak and believe that you are better than them (self-proclaiming a greater intelligence). I on the other hand do relate weakness with choice of faith, and I do not consider myself more or less intelligent than another because they are either Agnostic, Atheist, or some other belief.

Notice: I posted "and" between atheist and agnostic. You're right, definitions is key. = P

  • @CosmicGrounds Correction: I on the other hand do not relate weakness with choice of faith.

  • the description says mockumentary. This was a documentary with humor.

  • The plane flying of the crucifixion reenactment was gold.

  • @rigatony019 so does your dad

  • go around the persons intellect and into that little area where you can stick your evil little hands in and BRAINWASH THEMMMM MUAHAHAHAHAHAHH!!!!!!! 27 million you could be feeding children in africa or your own neighborhood..... FUCK THAT. It's an INDUSTRY that makes me so mad....

  • 1.41 - 1.57

    HAHA WTF???

  • "I am gonna go in the rapture and I am gonna come back on a white horse"

    pouahahaha

  • @harveysburger pouahahaha indeed

  • @harveysburger Seriously, that only scratches the surface of the ridiculousness of some of these ppl's beliefs. It's so convoluted that many hold to ideas not found in their bible. I can remember being told these things as a child in my grandmother's church & thinking "these ppl are just fucking crazy." It's just crazy that they believe these things literally. They miss out on the actual beauty of the metaphor AND the beauty of the REAL world we live in.

  • @harveysburger My favorite line of that entire documentary.

  • I just have to wonder what it is that causes people to believe these ideas in such an irrational fundamentalist way, not ever questioning these notions. Rapture? White horse? What the? telling me that they are "just crazy" is not good enough. It doesn't explain it. Why would one even need to go around "intellect" in order to support their biblical claims/views of the world. If it were legit, wouldn't "basic intellect" support it? Hello?

  • @FreeformTao I've had the same query for a long time now. I still haven't come up with an answer to this riddle. There must be something really interesting going on psychologically inside the minds of those who believe in Christianity.

  • @FreeformTao Fundamentalists like this are weak minded. I grew up next to a household of them. The smart, self-reliant, curious children left home as soon as they hit 18 and distanced themselves from all forms of religion. Those who were not as dependent, not as curious about their surroundings, or not as "quick" as the others, stayed with the church and continued to believe in nonsense... no matter what.

Many people need a crutch. Unfortunately, many find it in fairy tales.

  • @JeanetteTherese freeform, so your saying that the less intelligent choose religion? that is a naive statement to cover up your own immaturity. intelligence has nothing to do with belief in religion and your a moron for believing that. that being said, wisdom is far more crucial to man's ability to thrive then intelligence

  • @DaYosh04 "so your saying that the less intelligent choose religion?"

As someone that has a "higher recorded intelligence quotient then 99% of people in this world," you should be able to figure out if that was all that I said.

If you want people to take you seriously, don't start off by waving your e-dick. Doesn't work. Second, learn to spell and use proper grammar. Especially in a sentence where you are touting your IQ.

You associate yourself with those in this video? You're weak.

  • @JeanetteTherese . i was a straight A student, i have a higher recorded intelligence quotient then 99% of people in this world and my deductive reasoning is far superior to to yours, i promise. i ran away from home and put myself through my junior and senior year of HS in las vegas NV, i messed up and learned more in those 2 years then most will in a life time. i am a christian

  • @DaYosh04 I was a C-B student, had the second most absences my Soph year and the highest my Sr. Was bored in HS so I took college courses my Jr & Sr year. Had to start working at 13 due to some family issues. Started working for myself at 23. 32 now. Still my own boss. Never felt the need to take an IQ test. Confident in myself and happy with my dick. Messed up too and had to deal with some tragedy.

What is your point? You ran away from home. You have a void. You fill that with christianity.

  • @JeanetteTherese Does being an atheist or an agnostic make you believe you're more important than who you actually are? I can say the same about you for not being Christian.

  • @CosmicGrounds No, I don't believe I am more important than I actually am. I believe I am another being that lives on this miraculous planet. If I did think I was better, then I would be just as bad as the 'holier than thou' crackpots who dismiss science, claim they know what happens after death, claim to know their god is the true god, deny people rights and look down on those who have 'no faith.'

Do I think I am smarter than those that believe the above? Yes. Are they weak? Yes.

  • @JeanetteTherese If you have ever taken the time to read the bible you would realize those who are "holier than thou" crackpots are not true Christians. If you have neither taken the time to read and actually understand the scriptures then there is no hope in you understanding why you're encountering self-proclaimed pseudo Christians as opposed to true Christians. I highly doubt you really understand the bible and the scriptures within.

  • @JeanetteTherese Your very last statement (crutch-fairy tales) is super scary to me 'cuz I've seen first hand what this does to ppl. It means that they'll never let go of these fairy tales. If you even try to reason with them they get violent. Again, I don't understand the need to hang on to this crutch. Frightening.

  • @FreeformTao Yes. It is very frightening. They get violent (had many death threats) or they need to try to show you just how smart they are. Just look at the comments from DaYosh04 to me. He can't even make a coherent defense.

Btw, I think he was also trying to comment to you too. But his extremely high IQ prevented him from adding your name correctly to the comment.

  • @JeanetteTherese I see that my comment wasn't understood by DaYosh04 correctly. I wasn't implying that religion is for the less intelligent, I was just wondering why the religious always attack intelligence & feel they have to go 'around' it (as declared by Kirk Cameron) in order to promote religion & its tenants. That one is required to 'suspend' rationality is the first RED FLAG in religion for me. It HAS to be intelligent & practical in order for me to gain any benefit in everyday life.

  • @FreeformTao "I was just wondering why the religious always attack intelligence & feel they have to go 'around' it"

Kind of a sweeping generalization is it not?

  • @CosmicGrounds Well, it's the norm with them. Attacking intelligence & blaming it as the main reason why a rational person doesn't believe in the tenets of their religion is their main tactic. Look at their attacks on science itself. Their main message has always been faith is good, science is bad especially when it proves that their held belief is not based on the realities of the physical world. So if the generalization is 'sweeping' that's because MOST of them are in fact against science.

  • @JeanetteTherese Need a crutch, huh. LoL. I'm Christian and I don't use Christ as a crutch for my own existence. He's more of a friend to me that no one else can replace than a crutch that I need to 'shield' me from the harshness of life. I live in what's considered one of the worst places in America and I work a minimum wage job while going to college. I just accept life for what it is and move on. I always laugh when others as yourself claim that those who believe in God are weak.

  • @CosmicGrounds If you bothered to read what I wrote you might realize I said fundamentalists. Are you a religious fundamentalist? Do you associates yourself with the views in the video? Do you believe the bible is the word of god, even if it is full of contradictions, hate and misogyny? Do you pick and choose what you believe in? Are you waiting for the rapture?

"I live in what's considered one of the worst places in America and I work a minimum wage job while going to college." So what?

  • @JeanetteTherese First, do you realize what you posted? You posted that those who are fundamentalist are weak and need a crutch. I was sharing my current life situation as you posted yours as if to show a correlation with the struggles with your life and being an atheist are mutual. Whether you're rich or poor, have a well-off life with few problems or live in chaos, your religious title doesn't make you weak or strong, it's how you deal with your problems in positive or negative that do.

  • @JeanetteTherese Actually, I do consider every word in the bible to be that of God's word. I simply don't care if you consider me or any other person you haven't met who truly believes in God as weak. A person who shows weakness to me is someone who never gives the effort to change the direction from where their life is at. However, I see you're one of those self-righteous atheists who are stuck on themselves. Bubble world.

  • The U.S. Constitution prohibits a religious test for public office, but it says nothing about an IQ test.

  • LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
