I don't think they're cute enough *sarcasm*. Riyu is of course the cutest of the lot. This strikes me as having been a Spice Girls sort of thing...but cuter and not as contrived as the Spice Girls were. Any pop group created by a major corporation will have a degree of contrivance, but somehow J-pop doesn't come off as crassly so as American pop does. Maybe it's just me. Didn't really care for the video itself, but the song is bouncy and happy and makes its point.
