Actually it's not. I have Watercooling myself and my Cpu is 26 degreed celcius. Which is like perfect for an E8400. That is with The arctic Silver 5. Also, it looks cool if you have a case with a window, like me (antec 900)

Or if you want the HTPC completely quiet. Aircooling is much cheaper, but also louder...
