There is a lot of information and misinformation out there. We are only given pieces of the puzzle. I believe something bigger is coming. With all the fearmongering I think something better is coming. It's going to be a big surprise and maybe a shocker.

I agree with the last comment, there are some claims here not rooted in science, but have hints of truth in them. He just seems to be a little off base. But he is on to something. He seems to struggle with making all of these phenomena relate to the big picture. I'm not sure anyone could possibly see what that is. This is probably why his speech is so disjointed, because like us, he is aware that something larger is happening but we can only see small pieces of it right now.
First, we're going AWAY from Galactic Center, not towards it. Two recent estimates (Astronomical Journal and Astrophysics and Space Science) place the Sun’s current location between 20 and 30 parsecs from the plane (a parsec is equal to 3.26 light years), and moving towards its maximum distance of between about 50 and 90 parsecs.
Earth precession governs zodiacal cycles, not solar orbit.
