Yes, exactly as it was said below. The sirene was probably stolen from "Vapour Space Gravitational Arch Of 10 " which was released before "Dreams".
I remember that I was somehow disappointed at that time when I heard "Quench" in a club the first time - as I said, great track, however, no partly no inspiration of it's own...

yeahhh! saw these guys NYE 95/6 (i think) at the Midland Railyard in Perth.. The totally white stage backdrop with the neon orange quench logo and about a million strobe lights.. i think i blew a happy fuse.. i got this EP on a vinyl re-release and i also have the Hope/ Elevator remix EP with a strawberry on the label .. the carl cox mix was on FACT :)
Gimme back all the gritty warehouses and factories, the huge festivals over days out the back of nowhere, the shit that we don't get these days, due to everything having to be sanitised :(
yeah dude it sad that it all passed away ? it seems the spirit is dead of that age , where the pills we awesome and nothing mattered , and the music penetrated the soul and took us to a state of tranquillity , surrounded by people of like mindedness you could dance all night ? RIP old school
Wow, this is such a haunting record. i love it. I remember first hearing this record on Xmas Day 1993. I had the radio on in the very early hours of the morning and this song woke me up. Its awesome.
