people hate this film but i thought it was alright. They call it Pranks but i prefer the name, The Dorm that Dripped Blood. It sounds so much better,

its SORT OF a christmas slasher. when you watch it, you'll realise its nothing like silent night, evil night.. christmas evil.. black christmas etc. actually its about a group of college students who stayed behind during christmas break.. its not a very christmasy slasher at all. anyhow, i liked it... but that damn ending.. hard to forgive that ENDING

Worked on this with Larry Simione. Some students father put up the cash for the film stock. They checked out every piece of equipment at UCLA over Christmas break. That was the deal breaker. I didn't want to miss Christmas for $200 sleeping 2 weeks on the floor. Some of the crew worked on Nomad Riders and I hear it had a release in Europe.

The Dorm That Dripped Blood, Frozen Scream, Nomad Riders, wow it is hard to believe working on a real life living hell has become nostalgic history!

i just rented this movie from netflix and i've waited years to see it.saw it as a child on a tv show called saturday nightmares on usa,but didn't remember that much of it the acting was bad but over all u thought it was great!! don't understand why they changed the title though

@Harpsiccord I own the book The Curse: A Cultural History of Menstruation by Janice Delaney, Mary Jane Lupton, and Emily Toth (1988 revised, expanded editon). It is full of menstrual facts. And it is dripping with BLOODY red HUMOR!!! HA HA and ta ta for now!

I agree wholeheartedly. No matter how terrible a 70s or 80s slasher may be, it was the best of times for horror. Only a handful have been good to me in the 90s and today. Emily Rose, High Tension and The Devil's Rejects were about my best. I know this is off topic, but at 0:19, to me that guy stole Michael Landon's face. lol

Regardless of how crappy this or any of the Halloween knockoffs were, they all had a gritty feel to them that movies today(with a few choice exceptions),just don't have. That era will never be able to be duplicated again,unfortunately.
