hey scott, did this workout today and found it working my forearms more, i think this was because i was lifting wrong im not sure but i couldn't feel it in my biceps as much because of having to opt for a lighter weight due to my forearms not being able to take it not sure what to do
remember that when your a beginner or intermedite bodybuilder,your still putting on muscle.all the pros i have known have used this approach from DAY 1!only in the stages brfore competition or when you are truly advanced and no longer need to put on muscle but more to maintain and define every aspect of your bodsy do you really need any cables,etc.these are finishing tools,not tools to build.lets get in the gym and bleed!
stick just to basic;2-3 inch barbell curls 5x5,thick handle hammer curls 5x6,2-3 inch reverse curls -5x1-5 reps depending on your needs.thats it .no science,no bullshit.work brutally hard,eat,rest and recover.BLOOD AND SWEAT BABY!
also,unless you are actually training for competition,then these isolation exercises are worthless and deeply cut into your recovery ability from the exercises that REALLY put on muscle.you cant shape your muscles so quit wasting time on exercises that wont do a damn thing to build much needed mass.besides,biceps only make up 1/3 of your total arm girth.theyre your showy muscles.women also lve a strong back and legs.your neck is a symbol of power and strength to the female.two words;TOTALPACKAGE

What is going on if I havnt made any gains in my arm size in 4 months. I added 2 inches in the 5 months before that so it was frustrating when the growth just stunted. I have had some small strength gains. Im 17 and 10 months so I have come to the conclusion that it is just my age and I need to wait a couple of years untill I can start growing again. Please give us a hand. Thanks
When you start lifting you will see good gains at the start but it will go slower. it feels like it just stop, when your over that phase it will be good. just continue

28 sets is just not effective. After 12 sets of heavy biceps I lose a great deal of my bicep pump. This workout will make you sore but so will 28 sets of anything. Also factor in each exercise takes 60 seconds and you take 90 second rest that's 70 mins on biceps. That's also with no socializing water etc. No wonder this guy is still 140 pounds.

ANd btw not full range of motion save ur joints. Its one of the reasons of short range of motion. COleman said that this is why he had no joint problems all over his carier. Coz when u do full range of motion when u lock working joint - there is "a punch" to koint everi time. So main rule for all - take they roids or no - NEVER LOCK WORKING JOINT. (Onlt exeption i found is leg sitted extension but if not with big weight)

@jahanzeb360 it is actually a better idea to use an ez curl bar instead of a straight bar for curls, especially if you're going heavy. It is very easy to tear an extending muscle around the wrist because of the way your hands fold out with a straight bar. I have experienced this first hand and it sucked. I wasn't able to lift with my upper body for a good two months, even though I really wanted to. So please, use an EZ curl bar.
@jahanzeb360 yeah but with the ez curl bar u can strain ur forearms as it uses ur radiobrachialis more and u can get forearm splints, cause u tend to curl ur wrist more. this happens less with the straight bar
@jahanzeb360 the ez bar hits the outside, think about the angle and muscle contraction, for peak .......a close grip straight bar would be better. With dumbells you will need to focus more on the contraction and which part of the bicep you are trying to hit.......another tip remember the negative alot of people miss it and let the weight just drop
Scott, I have been working out for about 6-7 months and put on a lot of mass. I was VERY skinny. I'm 16 also. I love my body now. My back has gotten these stretch mark things. My question is are they bad and will they go away? Thanks man:)

Scott, I know you know your shit, but you should really add a relaxed wrist curl to your regimen. Hold a dumbell in your hand, palm facing up, put the grip in your fingers instead of palm, keep the wrist completely relaxed, and do 5-10 or so, these are also excellent for bicep peaks. take care bro!

I tried the workout, but isnt Guner360 right? 7 exercises is to much, i only did each exercise 2 times, sometimes 3. with 8-10 reps. but normally are 3-4 exercises enough. So why so much exercises?
you dont have to do all these exercises in one training, just choose few of them and change them from time to time

hey scott, would it be better if i perform all the exercises that involves straight bar with a EZ bar? And what about dumbbells? would exercising bicep with dumbbells be more effective? im just curious.

@jahanzeb360 it is actually a better idea to use an ez curl bar instead of a straight bar for curls, especially if you're going heavy. It is very easy to tear an extending muscle around the wrist because of the way your hands fold out with a straight bar. I have experienced this first hand and it sucked. I wasn't able to lift with my upper body for a good two months, even though I really wanted to. So please, use an EZ curl bar.

@jahanzeb360 yeah but with the ez curl bar u can strain ur forearms as it uses ur radiobrachialis more and u can get forearm splints, cause u tend to curl ur wrist more. this happens less with the straight bar

@jahanzeb360 the ez bar hits the outside, think about the angle and muscle contraction, for peak .......a close grip straight bar would be better. With dumbells you will need to focus more on the contraction and which part of the bicep you are trying to hit.......another tip remember the negative alot of people miss it and let the weight just drop

Scott, I have been working out for about 6-7 months and put on a lot of mass. I was VERY skinny. I'm 16 also. I love my body now. My back has gotten these stretch mark things. My question is are they bad and will they go away? Thanks man:)

Scott, I know you know your shit, but you should really add a relaxed wrist curl to your regimen. Hold a dumbell in your hand, palm facing up, put the grip in your fingers instead of palm, keep the wrist completely relaxed, and do 5-10 or so, these are also excellent for bicep peaks. take care bro!

I tried the workout, but isnt Guner360 right? 7 exercises is to much, i only did each exercise 2 times, sometimes 3. with 8-10 reps. but normally are 3-4 exercises enough. So why so much exercises?
