I also have EXTREME itchy scalp! Banging my head against the wall itch! What is your ratio for tea tree oil to olive oil? Is it still helping? Thanks!
@Raijay888 Sorry I don't have precise measures to share with you. I don't use tons of TTO. Maybe a ratio of one part TTO to 10 parts EVOO-- by no means an exact science. As my locs matured, I found that often my scalp itch was due to insufficient rinsing! I discovered that obsessive rinsing (and gently wringing water through length of locs) really helped. My skin is rather sensitive and the slightest amount of shampoo residue becomes a major irritant. Hope this helps. -N
you got a good personality and love them locks are really shiny - I am one day one ..just twisted mine and do you know what i need to do to keep the parts and keep them seperated... and how soon before I can wash them ... thanks!?! Oh and what do you do for a living that allows you to travel to Cambodia?
Thank you for this. I'd shampooed my locs but my scalp still itched like crazy. I took your suggestion and the tea tree oil worked right away. Ahhhh relief! Thanks again.
I'm itching terribly which is normal for me after 2 weeks.. the gel is making it even worse though, Olive oil has helped, I'm out of Sulfur 8.. Think I will get some Tea Tree Oil before the finger nails scratch my scalp to the bone. :) gl
I have sensitive skin, so I think the products I was using before had my scalp itching. Now I use natural products and tea tree oil and it has done WONDERS. Great vid, your locs are pretty!
im currently having an issue with itchy scalp as well... it's not so bad that i may have an infection per say but its more mild, i would say. nevertheless, im lookin for a solution.. a natural solution at that so i'll take your word on the tea tree oil.
thnx helpfull
