I saw the film only once - I still think the greatest version is yet to be made, but the one thing that has remained me is this beautiful score. There is definitely a Celtic influence at work on this piece of music. Possibly because the Bronte girls' father was Irish, their surname changed from Brunty.

Well it was a selfish love, and though they were soulmates and had the same darkness in them, they had different standards and neither of them was willing to accept that difference.

It reminds me of two characters from a show, I think you know who, I just hope they won't suffer the same fate.

This is seriously the best version on film. As beautiful as Olivier and Oberon were in the thirties film this one sticks to Emily Bronte's work. See it please!

I just saw the movie yesterday, and I love it. As good as, if not better than, the 1939 version starring Merle Oberon & Laurence Olivier. The 1992 version is more epic in that it tells the full story. I highly recommend it.
