Some of the songs are just so.. bbluh. I don;t like the ones that overpower the actual singer. Namely, Luka's, Gakupo's, and Lily's songs. The music is so loud you don't get a good idea of the singers. I must say I don't agree with your opinion on Piko. I did wish they had him do voice samples with his lower voice as well, but otherwise, I think Piko's voice is cute. I think it's difficult to find his better songs though since he is a difficult voicebank to use, like Lily. On another note, Meltdown sounds pretty good for Rin, and for Len I would suggest Re_Birthday or New Millenium. I know you aren't looking for Luka, but might I suggest Double Lariat? She sounds great in that song.

@nizecup Piko is in fact sampled from a male vocalist, yes. The real life Piko is known for being able to sing in a high girly voice, but he's also able to sing in a very low masculine voice. Unfortunately, Utatane Piko was sampled from only his high notes, so he doesn't do very well on lower notes.

I think you should keep using Doofus-P music for SONiKA. He does the best job with her I've seen. As for KAITO, either "iNSaNiTY" or "Another World is Mine" would be good for him. "Meltdown" is a good idea (though "Kokoro" would also work well), though for Len "Butterfly On Your Right Shoulder" would be better, I feel. And Big Al's cover of "Friday" would be perfect IMO.

@KagamineRinYuki They had voice providers, but no one knows who they are. Zero-G does not tell anyone who their providers are, with the exception of Miriam's provider Miriam Stockley.

i'm hearing rumors that the upcoming vocaloid2 is going to be based on a character of some sort cuz the rumored voice provider is a voice actor

@crazymanchinman if you're talking about CV04, all of the vocaloids in the CV series have been sampled from voice actors, but they're all original characters (Miku, Rin, Len, and Luka). If you're talking about someone else, it's possible, because we have Gachapoid based on the character Gachapin from a japanese childrens show.

@crazymanchinman Theres more then one coming... Two from Bplats that are english, one high-pitched english from Zero-G, one english male from PowerFX, Crypton's male CV04. Theres updates for Miku in the form of an english voicebank, Megpoid extend, possibly Gackpoid extend if theres a demand, Kaito Append, with Megurine Luka and Meiko expected but not announced. And now theres about 7 studios involved so who knows what will come up next. And Vocaloid 3 will be announced in the next few months.

@BadBenHo Ring and Lui were revealed yesturday, expect the next update to be later this year. Their release is in the fall. Lol, we're about to take off for this years Vocaloid relases it seems. ;-)
