  • I'm totally doing this. So u don't need shea butter? and do you leave the evoo at night wrapped up?

  • @Meeka, I am so happy that I came across your website and video. Young lady, you alone with others are revolutionizing the way we care for our hair. Some of it is not new, but we truly appreciate you taking the time to walk through these steps with us. I do it seven days a week because I am trying to grow length as well as my thin edges. I must say, it is working! Much love, peace and joy to you and your beautiful family. You are a blessing and many blessings will be coming to you and yours.

  • I'm starting this tonight lol .

  • i just tried this ..will see how it turns out in the morning

  • how often do you do the green house effect

  • @sweetpee271 she does it every night when she wants to see great results.

    vauno,

  • just followed this video and did it...it's great to try something new and especially healthy for our hair...hope all turns out well :-)

  • @MeekaJael i wear my hair in a silk wrap a lot and i was wondering could the ghe work for me because you said when u wake up in the morning your hair will be damp and that makes straight hair frizzy

  • @brionnakennedy are you relaxed...if so how you should do the ghe is by putting the shower cap over your head tie and then putting something over that...so it's a light steam and the moisture will stay out of your hair ...but it will still promote hair growth and bring out those natural oils...so it works none the less, just a lighter way of doing it...also if your not relaxed but wear your hair straight the same applies...thanks

  • quick question: do you think this method would work on locs? I have started locing my hair since Sept. 2010 and was wondering if I would get the same results as I only wash my hair once a month now anyway!

  • @TheGTgyal ohh for sure...you would get the best results...also don't put nothing on the scalp when you do the ghe...your natural oils and nutrients already come from your scalp and will build up on its own and your scalp will never get dry...thats the whole point...to keep everything off your scalp and let the bodies oils and nutrients it produces do its natural job god intended it to...thats why it's inspired by god...its his regimen...as natural as can be just like he intended it to be :)

  • I tried this regimen and my scalp tingles alot when I wake up in the morning, I love it, it feels like a bunch of things going on with my scalp and it gets me excited. I have been doing this for only a week and Ive seen results already, I added a little twist to my regimen I use the Bee Mine Sulfure Serum then I follow the steps in the vid, I am loving this regimen very much. Thanks Meeka Jael

  • @blissfullyme1980 ohh your so welcome, it really works miracles...keep me updated if you can.thanks and hhj :)

  • Bonjour! I think the Greenhouse effect is great, I wish I could do this everyday of the week, but it is impossible. So I do it twice a week. My hair is very very fine, so I want to thicken it more. I watched the video on how you grew it out long. But I noticed you did not use water before applying the oil. Should I use water then JCBO and then braid or not use water?

    Thanks. :)

  • @MYSELFNME1 you could use water if you like...whatever works for you as long as you do the ghe...but she does moisterize with water. :)

  • Would we have to use Evoo for the greenhouse or could we use another oil such as castor oil or sum other natural oil?

  • @lisalye yes you can use any oil you like...she uses evoo. :)

  • Also so it's good to use extra virgin olive oil, instead of castor oil? I use EVOO now but i plan on buying castor oil as well so question there's no need for that or should i just get it and mix them up both. I'm sorry for all the questions. I'm still new to all this.

  • @Ifygurl I was wondering the same thing!!! i wanna try this but i was wondering about evoo vs jbco......i'm using olive oil bcuz that's what i have lol i dnt wanna ask my mom to buy jbco bcuz she just bought softee's castor oil hair and scalp conditioner ( it's a grease).........so yh

  • @mstb94

Since it's a grease, i don't think that type of castor oil is right for your hair. If i'm you, i wouldn't use it. I heard grease is not good for black hair. I'm doing her routine now with my own twist to it. So far i'm still using EVOO cause that's all i have, as well as glycerin pure. IDK if it's having the right effect. Her husband said EVOO is a good substitution to JBCO though. so i'm assuming no need to buy jbco if you already have evoo.

  • @Ifygurl yh i found out that petrolatum, mineral oil, and lanolin is bad.....but i found that out AFTER i asked my mom to buy two greases......i can't just throw them away.....i have to use them....so i guess i'll just see what happens....i'm using the grease after i wash them and in btw and i'm doing the real queens regimen every night

  • @Ifygurl EXACTLY EVOO WORKS JUST FINE OR EVEN BETTER, THATS JUST KEEPING IT REAL :)

  • @mstb94 either one is fine, but you just do whatever works best for you so your happy...as long as your applying the ghe progress should be great for you :)

  • @Ifygurl no evoo works just fine just make sure your head is hot during the ghe/during the night. :)

  • Okay i do almost everything you do except i need to ask if it's okay to co-wash, protein and deep condition once a week. My routine is co-wash on monday, wash my hair with black soap shampoo i made on wednesday and deep conditioner and then protein on friday(every other week) but since you said we should wash once a month. I can get rid of washing my hair every wednesday but what about the others? Should i get rid of the deep condition and co-wash every week and protein every other week.

  • God bless you for giving such vital info for free

  • New subbie here with a question! I did my big chop last week so I have short short hair now, so will this regimen work for me too?

  • After moisturizing my hair, I sleep in a plastic bag with my micro fiber cap on top and it does wonders for my hair. The moisture level is awesome! Thanks for the video. I feel like I'm on the right track.

  • haha wow thats it? i do all of that too. thanks i never knew i was doing such a good job. honestly i think i could do better tying my hair up every night and not just sometimes. whats your skin care regi? your skin is awsome!!! im trying to get rid of these stupid dark spots but ive tried everything and its not working

  • haha wow thats it? i do all of that too. thanks i never knew i was doing such a good job

  • this was a nice video.....i definately do the real queens regimen, and i notices that the hair in the m iddle of my scalp is two times longer than the rest of the new growth, i bout freaked out! lol.....6 months no relaxer now

  • @honeyebby glad it's going well for you :) HHJ

  • Thank you Very much!!!

i got a question! (i'm french so excuse my bad english, lol)

My friend relaxed my scalp like a month ago...

and she burnt mt scalp (that bxxxxh!!!)

but well I started the Real Queen Regiment the next day (hihi I saw your husband's video). And well my problem is that almost every night my scalp is really itchy exactly where my scalp was burnt. I really dont want to stop the regiment. Do you know where it could come from or if I can stop the itchy sensation???

    Thank you!!

  • @o0Chewey0o are you using jbco? cause if so that might be the reason...my scalp use to itch if the jbco got on it...now that i use evoo it doesn't itch

  • I am very impressed with your green house application and regimen. My hair feels Onedearfull now. The procedure remined me of when I had my Jeri Curl, my hair was really long and soft, due to the moisture from wearing the plastic cap with rich moisture products, however you elevated the process adding the skull cap :). By the way where did you get the Large Satin Scarf? How can I order it from you?

  • @TheAtalyah thanks...glad you like it! i got the satin scarf from my local beauty supply store years ago but i can't remember which one

  • Comment removed

  • Hey, i was wondering do your hair have to be loose to do this regimen? ( i think its a great ideal, great video... the reason i ask i have micro braids for my protective style. i know they migth loosen-up but i dont mine i would just re-braid if need to,

thanks again for the video and shareing your regimen.

  • @braidsbombshell i've never tried it that way but my husband says it should work good either way

  • @MeekaJael Thanks, i will try it it migth keep my braids / scalp moisture while in protective style.

  • @MeekaJael Hey there, I have crochet braids in (a little bigger than micros) and what I did was take a plastic cap, put a hole in the middle or top of it, put hair up into a ponytail (with hands) pull hair through the hole in the plastic cap and then I put the plastic cap on my head. I pulled my braids through to get the cap as close to my head as possible. Then I put on my satin scarf. I jus tried this and it seems to work. HTH HHJ

  • When you do your braid outs...is your hair wet or dry ?

  • Great video!!! I do this all the time and love it!!! Your hair is as always Beautiful!!!!

  • Are you relaxed ? If so, how often do you get your hair relaxed?

  • thanks for the video. I came to know about the green house effect (pls rename the video that way coz ppl refer to it as that and not Real Queens) about two weeks ago and I can ATTEST to its effect. I use clear CO and i only wear a plastic cap to bed and in the morning there is a whole lotta dampness going on (not wet). My hair is filling in and the SHINE and health is amazing! I do it every single night! Thanks to you and your husband!

  • thanks so much for this! so you do this everyday? and i see u sed uve replaced the EVCO...but do you think this method will still work with that?

  • Your hair has some very beautiful waves. Do you use that method daily?

  • i love your hair!!!! you got that texture my baby girl has. it grows super fast without much trouble. im going to view the rest of ur vids.

  • I don't think it's safe to sleep with a plastic cap on your head........, this will not allow your head to breath, besides I'm pretty sure it will make your hair stinky....idk.....

  • @najmaj i've been doing it since i started my hair journey and have had rapid growth and my hair never stinks lol...but to each is own :)

  • @MeekaJael Mine never stinks either and I found that vaguely fascinating because I do this every night and I co wash at the end of each week.

  • I wanna try this method, but I'm not liking the fact that my hair will be damp in the morning because I'm always in a hurry and don't have time to dry it plus its the winter season and I don't wanna get sick. But I'll give it a try, may have to tweek it a little to fit my needs. Thanks for sharing, God bless.

  • @AshleyLaShun2 hey good point you brought up...i just added something in the description box regarding that concern...if you take it off first thing when you wake up the moisture should dry up within 15 mins, i've never needed to blow dry since i just let it dry while i'm getting ready and i do my hair last

  • always love your songs x

  • Perfect! Blessings to you and your family.

  • WOW this is a great regimen! Your hair looks lovely curly or straight. I have nvr heard of the green house effect very interesting. I must try that.

  • Great tips! Evoo is great and I use it often. Will try this regimen, thanks!

  • Great information. You hair looks fantastic. I like the concept of the Green Effect, but I'm a little concerned about my hair being damp in the morning before work.

  • @prisskitajoe thanks :) i just added something about your concern to the description box

  • @MeekaJael Ok, thanks for addressing my concern.

  • so you've replaced the JBCO with EVOO??

  • @ElPressie yes

  • @MeekaJael

Any particular reason for the change?

  • Hi there, i must try this, is it realy necessary to wash hair 1 a month? Cause sometimes i wash my hair every 2 weeks , i used to wash it 2x a week, i'm worried bout the dirty lol, so you dont put nothing on you scalp? The evoo goes only on the hair? Have a nice day.

  • @Libeauty7 i've answered some questions in the description box...hope that helps

  • @MeekaJael Thx gurl didn't notice that you had some answers in the description box. Yes it hepls lol xx.
