Here in rural West Tennessee when a third alarm is pulled we generally roll everything in the county, except each area keeps a reserve unit on ready up stand by at the station. We are all volunteer with the exception of 12 paid firemen at the county seat. Most of our cities are 18 to 30 miles away from each other, so its best to go prepared rather than arrive on scene, and find out we need more units. We also roll all of our tankers,
