I have no doubt the steel series is a great pad. Just wanted to point, that I've used my razer destructor for 18 months at work and haven't wear off not even a little bit. I use a deathadder.

The shape you flawed one because the destructor was designed for low sens gamers that use large swiping motions, hence the curved design. It was a good review but i still prefer my destructor over any mat. I have had it for 5 months and hasn't worn out. Do you use high sens. with quick multiple movements on one part? Because then that is the reason you're destructor is wearing out.

@xSTUDDLYNiPPL3Z This pad isn't made for low sens. More like high-med. Low sens is like > 8" per 180 turn, mid is about 4-8", which is what the size is ideal for. I'm sure yours has worn, you just can't see it unless you hold it up to light. That or think w/e makes you sleep.

As a neutral person, i would say that the destructor has the best surface as far as speed is concerned but this immature boy is right about the surface wear out. It is the best until it wears out. It might wear out faster than the steelseries BUT its faster and more precise.It is your call then. Do you have the money to buy 2 destructors per year? Then go for it. Else, buy steelseries.

@hatalos Personally I find that the S&S has less friction. The 4HD feels a lot more like the Destructor than the S&S. I wouldn't get either of these, I'd go for the 4HD now.

@clownxfart No, i dont have one. But it is biased considering you claim everything from the package to the material is shit, and you claimed the shape was bad. The shape isnt terrible considering people generally move in an arch, therefore the curved design. Claiming in a previous comment that everything is trash from them, i can already tell that ther is a biased belief torward the company from the start. Their mouses are the best of all choices, and they offer the greatest variety of pads.

@TyTaxiCab Pretty sure I just say the case isn't necessary, and over done. If you keep your hand at the bottom edge of the mouse pad, then maybe a curved shape makes sense. but the shit on the side? Really? It's a waste of space. Most of their new mice are faulty as fuck, and some have a pretty high failure rate. Though if you can get passed that they have one good mouse. "they offer the greatest variety of pads." No sir, they do not. I believe Steelseries does. Cloth, glass, plastic, etc.

@lay4life G9 has huge mouse feet that are gonna eat mouse pads. I'd recommend getting some new ones that are softer, and cutting them smaller. Then get a 4hd, the 9hd isn't much bigger (just 3cm longer on each side). If you want a bigger mouse pad, I'd get a cloth pad. For that I definitely recommend a Puretrak Talent or a Qck.

@clownxfart well, eat mousepad only if mousepad is sucks, after reading reviews i decided to go for razor destructor it last longer and the surface is what i need, currently almost a year i'm using cyber snipa gaming mouse pad, yes after g9 harldly use over 3 hours daily play cs 1.6 the pad is gone lol, also the feet of the mouse is gone as well, already ordered new feet, and so new mouse pad)))

Coz if feet is damaged already it will damage any pad qiuckly, i just don't like soft surfaces personally, and for fps games soft is sucks compare to plastic like/glass surfaces..

@tmddyd2915 It's like 20$ if you can still find them. Using a 4HD now, it's kinda like the Destructor, similar size, normal shape, and similar glide. The grip on the under side is better too. I've been using it for 1 month now, with no wear. I'll do a review in a month of a few other mouse pads, and probably G500, and XAI review too. I might do that today actually. :D

@tmddyd2915 I've never tried the sphex, but it would probably be better. Cloth pads get dirty and can get dust onto the sensor of the mouse causing it to jitter. Usually only happens with laser mice. Most of the time you can clean your mouse, but if you don't clean your pad it will keep shooting dust onto the sensor. Though the Qck works great with deathadders, I know a few pros that use that combo. The sphex looks pretty cool and it's cheap, I'd give it a try if you would like a hard surface.

wow I just found out the newest version of Razer's Exactmat is coming out and its called, 'Razer Vespula gaming mouse pad' for about $35 bucks... looks slick and I think its a bit smaller than the Exactmat. Vespula will have double sided surfaces which I think its the best a mouse pad can have!

Ive had my bad ass Func Surface Archetype 1030 gaming mouse pad for 2 years now, which has 2 surfaces, smooth on one side for Speed, and a bit rough on the other side for Control. it still looks great with no wear nor tear, its awesome and still a winner for gaming today! The one thats like it but a bit bigger is the Razer's Exactmat I just might get that one for my new rig.

Alright mate, the reason why I mentioned that you are so unbiased is you keep telling crap languages on the other product.

If you will review any products try to mentioned as much as possible on what are the difference of each product. On the technical terms you should mention the pros and cons of each. Also you need to mention about the design ergonomics of each. And of course the price value. (i.e is the price tag really worth it for a typical user or a professional gamer?)

Of course we are talking on a informal way but at least try to avoid crap languages because the more you use it then it will imply negative impact on the product and to the reviewer (yourself). This is the reason why a lot of people are commenting on your post in a very negative way, because that's what you've project on your review.
