Typical IGNorant review. Harry Potter is all about story, so glossing over anything is bad. The focus should've been on a thorough, interconnected story from game-to-game that tells the whole tale of Harry alongside each film with refined gameplay to match. But, bottom line is, Harry Potter should be story heavy, since gameplay is too hard to please EVERYBODY with.

I played this game for 20 minutes. After 5 minutes of gameplay and 15 minutes of cutscenes i uninstalled it. Maybe i just didnt get to the fun part... But game should be fun from the begining... First two HP games were the best...

And as it turns out, Im very good at potion making lol. But I'm just a sucker for the AC franchise, its THE most beautifully animated game I've ever seen and I love the storyline. Still, it doesnt mean I dislike other games because of it nor that I wont give them a chance because theyre less graphicly enhanced ;)

I'm looking forward to the stage where all the "harry" storyline is gone and someone comes along and makes a game where you can create your own character and live in hogwarts. Games based on films tend not to work since dragging and hour and a half to thirty hours is fairly tough. We need a whole new storyline that was origanally created just for the game itself.

@StickGod93 i agree, make the fans feel like we're actually attending hogwarts. maybe make it so that we make our own choices and it affects which house we land in. some side missions are available at night, which requires you to be smart and careful so you won't be caught by prefects, and maybe you can choose if you want to try out for quiditch and which position you'd want to fill. game would have so much replay value

Is it just me or would a red dead redemption sort of game set in the Harry Potter Universe be amazing. You wouldn't play as harry potter, but a completely different story arc and you could create your own characters and even have a free roam online mode where you can duel with others or take out dementors and death-eaters and do all the harry potter mini games like wizard chess and things! Sort of like an action packed harry potter mmorpg!

I love all the Harry Potter video games. Finnish this game 100% the 1st day it came out. I love the mini games & I love the kinect in Hp7 (part 1). Hope Hp7 ( Part 2) is going to be as good as the other Hp Video games. Also i love Lego Years 1-4. It's is awesome because your still playing in the Magical world if Harry Potter but from a different view. The HP games are Brilliant. Although the graphics could improve but aye you can't get everything right.

Like, you can, but you have to be extremely witty about it because of the penalties if you get caught by someone because it raises your notority and Hogwarts may demote you or prevent you from certain resources for a number of time. This could be very creative with stealth missions and things like that. C;

It would be amazing for Hogwarts to be like your Headquarters (like the arch mages lobby in Imperial City @ Oblivion) and you advance in your ranks to gain access to new rooms and spellmaking equipment as you progress by flying on your (upgradable) stick across the land, helping towns, fighting monsters and exploring with side quests, eventually leading to a wizard vs. humongous demon in the middle of London. :D
