@TheMash84 The main problem, besides the other people nearby, is the tires and the aero. One little tire or aero failure and then it's a pure lottery what happens at 236 mph. It can be no damage/no injury or multiple cars totaled/10 people killed. Easily... Even planes only reached 236 mph on 29 March 1923 and the official record until after WWI was 134 mph... Crazy dude in the vid... I had a tire failure at 161 mph (COMPLETELY empty highway) and it "wasn't funny"... but no damage/no injury.

This is EASILY the most insane car video EVER. You can do crap and shit at the track/drag strip/empty road etc., but 380 kph (236 mph) on a public road with traffic (no matter how sparse), that's CRAZYLAND. Love it, love it, love it! WOOOOOOOOW! BTW: An 800 hp Supra would do about the same. An unlimited 320 hp stock Supra MKIV is known to be able of 175 mph (281 kph) - normally limited to 155 mph (250 kph). 380/~281 = ~1.3523 ^ 3 = ~2.4730 * 320 = ~791 hp

Cleary 380km/h is way off - it's more like 320-330km/h. You can easily calculate this by the revs he's doing (R32 - black car). About 8500rpm or so by the sounds of it. Then get the gear ratios: 0.752 top, 4.111 final, calc'd off stock 225/50R16 tyres. This works out to be 324.8km/h @ 8500rpm. Clearly a long way off 380km/h. Also, the amount of power to overcome the wind resistance of an old car with bad Cd would have to be waaaay over 1000hp to do 380km/h...

Yeah I know they wouldn't be stock but the outer circumference would be similar, so obviously I used the stock size for the calcs. I also know they could change the gearing, but that is also irrelevant. Why can't I talk about drag coefficients?  The Cd is THE hardest thing to overcome when you're talking top speed, nothing to do with power:weight. The Cd of the R32 GTR is 0.40 which is pretty bad.
