our whole family plays, my brother is currently at bollettieri, and my other brother is playing at uab, you have to start off young at bollettieri if you want to improve, if your older your gonna have a very tough time there.

Andy Roddick uses his legs very well on his serve. Notice how roddick usually pushes off TWO of his feet rather than one when he serves. This produces more "Forward Momentum" into the ball. But it doesnt stop there..... NOTICE how roddick quickly moves up to the ball. His entire body is quickly moving upward.

no, that would be the case but these academies are PAID to tell the kids they have talent. I have been to just about all of them. It's a joke. Sanchez was one of the better ones in Spain. These are simply pay for compliments

No open stance, huge back swing on forehand and backhand...Watch the contact point on backhand! It's way too behind. This is recreational. I always knew Bolletieri is nothing special... On serve - instead of bending body you need to stratch it UP!!! Don't think if you got money to pay Bolletieri you are a pro already.

she says he is too far from the ball. federer contact out abit than most. no mention - creation of whip by driving racket butt forward then firming wrist. federer has a 53 degree layback just before contact. special software to measure wrong grip bh & how straight armed the elbow is no mention to cock wrist on the bh so u meet it out in front, lift low to high. front foot blocks ability to get weight transfer into the ball. swings east to west never extends. the serve (ugh).

i do agree that it's somewhat pointless to compare an average hacker to a pro, in any sport, given all of the physical differences, but her point about the jump was valid. lanman jumps straight up, giving him no momentum (and reduced balance) into the ball, whereas agassi, and every other pro, jump into the ball. it makes a huge difference. that was her point which she eventually managed to mumble out.

b.s. my high school coach, and any coach in my league wouldn't have given that kind of analysis over 4 years, let alone during one session. if you happen to attend hs in a wealthy district where good coaches can be hired, maybe, but not most highschools.
