with your forehand, you're jumping. with andre he's opening his hips up through his swing while be squared which causes the feet to come off the ground. not jumping. i dont even know what to say bout the backhand... and dont look at roddicks serve not a good serve to look at when learning
our whole family plays, my brother is currently at bollettieri, and my other brother is playing at uab, you have to start off young at bollettieri if you want to improve, if your older your gonna have a very tough time there.
Yeah I really did suck here but i'm a lot better now since I went to the academy. I'm not saying that academy is that great but it gave me a good base.
hey dude i'm not saying you suck. i'm just saying this girl is an annoying bleep. good luck on your game. i think there is somethings i've learned watching these. i'm writing them down they make sense and i'll try them on the court. good luck.
Andy Roddick uses his legs very well on his serve. Notice how roddick usually pushes off TWO of his feet rather than one when he serves. This produces more "Forward Momentum" into the ball. But it doesnt stop there..... NOTICE how roddick quickly moves up to the ball. His entire body is quickly moving upward.
Well the reason for that is because for a woman to become a coach at Bolletieri their technique has to be better than most of the male coaches. Even if you don't admit the sexism lol.
i also think that the woman is very good at analyzing, but if she would be critical, she has to say that this boy has not much talent for the game, i mean the backhand is so wrong, there is nothing right
yeah he sucks.... how can he be at the academy? maybe a paying student no? for one of those summer camps? that backhand is horrible... and the forehand is bad too
no, that would be the case but these academies are PAID to tell the kids they have talent. I have been to just about all of them. It's a joke. Sanchez was one of the better ones in Spain. These are simply pay for compliments
seriously, this woman is very very good at analyzing. more women should be paid for analzying tennis videos. men dont mention all the details, but women do
try and get a woman teacher in boletieri academy. they are always good in finding faults and they are very critical. this means theyre good. Women tend to tell you every little detail.
No open stance, huge back swing on forehand and backhand...Watch the contact point on backhand! It's way too behind. This is recreational. I always knew Bolletieri is nothing special... On serve - instead of bending body you need to stratch it UP!!! Don't think if you got money to pay Bolletieri you are a pro already.
she says he is too far from the ball. federer contact out abit than most. no mention - creation of whip by driving racket butt forward then firming wrist. federer has a 53 degree layback just before contact. special software to measure wrong grip bh & how straight armed the elbow is no mention to cock wrist on the bh so u meet it out in front, lift low to high. front foot blocks ability to get weight transfer into the ball. swings east to west never extends. the serve (ugh).
i do agree that it's somewhat pointless to compare an average hacker to a pro, in any sport, given all of the physical differences, but her point about the jump was valid. lanman jumps straight up, giving him no momentum (and reduced balance) into the ball, whereas agassi, and every other pro, jump into the ball. it makes a huge difference. that was her point which she eventually managed to mumble out.
thats stupid, she compared agassis forehand and yours talking about the wrist action for topspin but yours comes much lower than agassi's... i could give you a better analysis from looking at that vid.. she sucks.
i bet you paid like 800bucks a week to get this analysis, waste of money dude a high school tennis coach could tell you this and he would probably do it for $15 bucks an hour
b.s. my high school coach, and any coach in my league wouldn't have given that kind of analysis over 4 years, let alone during one session. if you happen to attend hs in a wealthy district where good coaches can be hired, maybe, but not most highschools.
