I would disagree with your point that DCFC is difficult to tolerate for any with "good musical taste". If anything, if you want to enjoy DCFC you have to pay closer attention to all the instruments as opposed to a blaring electric guitar (which is what you basically get out of most Americam Metal or Classic rock)
