It doesn't take a genius to know that the cry of a baby can be a little grating sometimes but goodness gracious this is someone's child. I think there was an awful thing new parents were taught a few generations ago that picking up an infant when it is crying will somehow spoil the child. Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact if you want an emotionally stable human being as your child, you have to be as nurturing as you can possible be.

I could never bear to hear my son cry. i always ran to get him. now 10 yrs later he's always by my side mama mama mama he tells me i am his best friend. I remember my inlaws telling me to let him cry it out, to not get him used to being in my arms all the time, and now I look at him almost as tall as me, and never leaves me alone always by my side. AND I REGRET NOTHING!!!
