  • is fantastic this album i have in original cd, he came from thin lizzy in that moment ..check black rose album from thi lizzy, is fantastic!!!!!

  • Fabulous! Great rhythm section too!

  • Gary Moore & G Force great night in 1981 when they supported Whitesnake at Preston Guildhall

  • Saw Gary Moore & G Force way back in 1981 @ Guildhall in Preston they were the support to Whitesnake on the Ready & Willing tour. Such a great night both bands were on fire. R.I.P Gary!!!

  • @JRNYmansparky A recording of that show is available online! I saw them at Southampton (actually, it was 1980). Best support band I've ever seen.

  • FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I saw gary and gforce live in july of 79 supporting van halen on vh's world vacation tour,at the time I didn't know who gary moore even was I just knew that the guitar player in gforce was incredible,it wasn't until years later that I realized that I had seen gary live.I feel fortunute to have seen and heard one of the Greatest guitarist of all time Gary Moore..

  • Rest in Peace, Gary. :-(```

  • Rest in Peace brother.... !!!

  • R.I.P. Gary Moore. Fantastic guitarist, great voice and good songwriter.

  • Daffern of Captain Beyond on vocals and Tony 'Snake Oil' Newton of the Tony Williams Lifetime on bass....RIGHT ON Gary...great support here.

  • Saw them live (supporting Whitesnake), and this song was indeed awesome!

  • One of the most awesome albums of all time ..awesome from start to finish

  • Kind of reminds me of Uli Jon Roth's Electric Sun.

  • @UliJones

In what way does it even come CLOSE to anything Uli has ever done?

Gary Moore was my hero and I quite like Uli...but c'mon man ...you even have Uli in your nick...way to troll dude..!!!!

  • @Ozeshin

Calm down Oz! I was just remarking that this particular song reminds me of some the stuff on the first Electric Sun album. I wasn't putting anyone down! Maybe it's the Hendrix influence?

  • @UliJones

Lol..kk...my bad....just defensive of my dead hero lol

  • @Ozeshin

Don't worry friend. We're all feeling it.

  • Aun tengo el LP de esta grabación venía en un paquete doble junto al LIVE AT THE MARQUEE y son fabulosos tengo casi todo de Gary Moore de esa etapa; de su etapa bluesy tengo algo no todo.

  • PAURA VERA!

  • G-Force originally featured Glenn Hughes, but due to the latter's problems it didn't happen. Imagine Glenn's voice on this! Having said that I always liked GM's singing anyway. :)

  • gary was never proud of his g-force stint but i think they made some class tunes of that album better than his blues crap

  • I still have the picture disc.

Gary was to play NYC Bottom Line but canceled. I was bummed out.

  • g force. victime of the future. coridor of the power. run f cover.war dance. black rose. c est le top de g moore. le reste je n aime pas.c trop comercial.

  • I think Moore's worst album is anything AFTER Still Got the Blues.

"is often touted"... what the hell does that mean? by who?

  • Gary's lead tone on the G-Force album is really abrasive and fuzzed out. Weird when you hear it at first.

Funny enough, Brad Sayre has almost exactly the same tone on the self-titled Messendger album from 1982.

  • gary pluged strait in to the mixing desk on the g force recoding, thats why he has that fuzz tone, still one of his best albums.

  • Wow, controversy! Let's say that Gary is the best Hard Rock guitarist Ireland has produced, and Rory the best Bluesman. Eric Bell is also darned good. But, when this album came out, Gary Moore and Michael Schenker were the two guitarists making big waves in Hard Rock. And this song is fantastic. They played it slightly differently live - the stop/start riff opened the number.

  • awesome guitar player

  • I remember, when I was 18 I had a picture disc of the G Force Album. I put a collection of the guitar solos on a cassette which I played during my postal round. .Brings back very good memories, thanks for posting!!

  • I`m not going into the whole `fighting on YouTube` crap. But let me correct you, Gary Moore is Irish ! He stated so himself many times in interview`s over the year`s. Yes, he`s from Belfast, Yes that`s in Northern Ireland etc, etc. But many people in the north of my country refer to themselves as Irish, because they are. He is a fine, fine guitar player no doubt!! But Rory Gallagher is the one, he stayed true to himself and music.

  • 'tis awesome, i love it and im only 19! me dad had this album and 'back on the streets' on cassette when i was a kid an i stil love it today (takes me back lol), ive even bought this on cd and both on vinyl. such an under-rated guitarist/artist, hes probz my fave guitarist :)

  • i say the solo makes me melt. melt. hot.

  • brings me back in time , gary is one of the best

  • hi there ive put this on for all you budding guitar players out there this is a great album by g-force a hard album to find , love this album listen to the solo ouch!! turn it up real loud
