  • Прекрасно! Amazing! Одна из моих любимых групп! Любимая песня!=))

  • bravo....

  • esta é sem duvidas, a melhor formação do cure

  • s0bra.. kahit saan!

  • bien ...... the cure

  • On Google Maps there's a huge portrait of Robert Smith outside Guitar Center Hollywood on Sunset Blvd. There's also a picture (click on one of the blue dots) of The Cure's handprints and signatures in a sort of walk-of-fame type thing. All longtime Cure fans should see this on Google Maps. Maybe someday soon we'll see if Robert wants to accept the mantle of member of the rock n roll hall of fame...

  • sorry thekillerichi1 I still believe synth on this is essential

  • Timeless...

  • good to see they still can kick ass. Remember 'in-between days' being played on a radio in the hot summer of '85. Next to 'she sells sanctuary' by the Cult

  • Best version of this song. Porl makes it. They shouldn't ever use keyboards/synthesizers again.

  • i really dig the cure ! ♥♥

  • Love the Cure! <3

  • The good old days......

  • and there will always be one Robert James Smith... the Goth Father.

  • Great guitar Porl... but again I miss the keyboards. The Cure songs seems incomplete without them.

  • Een mooi nummer

  • One of the reasons why modern music doesnt impress me at all!!! Everything we have was already created by the Cure

  • Robert Smith and Tim Burton are like the kings of Goth

  • lo maximo the cure

  • robert: do you want me in your line-up to play keyboards?

  • Great song! Love The Cure!

  • I'm 52 and this is the band of my lifetime

  • I'm 15 and I've loved the Cure since I was 11. My God why does no one else love this amazing fucking music??? :DDDD

  • my fave cure song

  • This one is powerful in the "ROCK N ROLL" side of the force.

  • great great great great peformance...what a band what a song what a tune...guitars rule

  • These guys have been rocking their eyeliner for 35 years. Bring it Robert. I've loved you from the first time I heard ya!

  • 13 people don't like eyeliner

  • My favorite Cure song and I am really really digging this reworked version. Porl playing the lead keyboard hook on guitar is just fabulous. I was wanting but now am cured!

  • simply put, the cure are fantastic

  • Love it, search Spiders - The Romance is how Tragic this is

  • Porl gone mad(:hihihi(:

  • Astorian Stigmata

  • Love it

  • Someone please educate me here....Is Smith the only original here? Or are there any others from the old days in this band? S'cuse my ignorance. Thanks.

  • @rpwVideoInstruction the bass player is....

  • The bassplayer is Simon Gallup, original member, the guitarplayer is Porl Thompson, also from the original line up. The drummer is Jason Cooper, joined the band in 1995.

  • No keyboard???

  • @Batman83

There is its extremely faint though and doesn't come in during the verses.......... it's either that or I heard this song so much it's still play in my head.

  • @DarkChiodoz No there's non here. Just heard it a lot like me too lol.

  • SOOOOOOOOOO pissed that i missed this concert.

  • BZzzz really cool. Thumbs up.

  • oh yeah thats all i got to say oh yeah

  • Excellent Performance ... the bloke that ate Robert Smith really digested his talent .....

  • If you have to take account of any artists appearance to appreciate their music/lyrics then you are a c*nt. End of discussion.

  • Robert Smith is Robert Smith IS ROBERT SMITH!! So.

  • If you like this then you will like the band I manage, The Ran-Tan Waltz.. Hyped by NME, major support slots last/this year, 2 big London shows coming up in April. New EP released on Philophobia Records etc... Vids on the youtube profile x

  • robert is so cool,in manner which he plays the guitar here.so match glamour, class in it.

  • Always rock more live than in studio...amazing band.

  • ohhh yes listen to that@!!!

  • This music is going to be played over and over to my future kids, along with other bands from this era, seriously. Music with emotion, music with its own style.

  • The highest thumbed up comment is right, people get old if you don't like it close your eyes. There we go problem solved (:.

  • I flew to NY from Belgium for this concert, great memories

  • Bela :)

  • fuck i love the cure !

  • Is that the original guitarist, i can't tell with the whole image thing... and the awesome high heels ^^

    but yeah amazing performance!

  • and i know i was wrong

when i said it was true

that it couldn't be me and be her

    in between without you

    without you

  • yeasterday away from u it froze me deep inside

  • omg im really crying right now

  • The Cure is always in my Heart. even if I'm older now I let my children listen to this kind of music. Robert Smith and the rest of the Cure are awesome!!!

  • they wear that kind of dress and make ups because dats wer they r known for..,. even dey have deir age..still dey look great. i think some idiot wants dem to wear beiber shirt/caps.... come on!!

  • Porl Thompson looks a dick

  • The 80's music is the greatest of all. It will not die, it didn't even fade away. That's our generation. I am proud to be part of the 80"s

  • @artlerma Right there with ya Artie.

  • Robert Smith is a more substantial artist and human being than most of the bullshit that people take for 'rock heroes' these days.

I can clarify the above statement if you need? :)

  • I also believe in your words was this music these sounds are.

  • and i know i was wrong

when i said it was true

that it couldn't be me and be her

    inbetween without you

    without you..

    luv u sweety

  • ok i understand jason is not nearly like boris. they use effects now with the drumming. that said, there alot of songs that sound good with jason anyway b/c the rest of band carry him well. porl and simon are great. the 2 great songs that jason doesn't play well are up tempo tracks play for today and primary. primary is especially bad song for him. the msg and coachella shows still sound great anyway with most of the songs. my point is cure are still worth listening to every day of the week. ?

  • the best ever, they are the real goth. robert looks and the rest of the cure will never fade. amazing voice that never fade... long live the 80's!!!!

  • good old daysssss... nuwave i love the songs the best cure when im sick lolz

  • Robert as well as all members of the Cure will always be beautiful.

  • They look and sound absolutely fantastic!! if you asked me. The guitar is brilliant 'I think'

  • I have wanished tattoes

    I have an age

    I get fat and bold

But I am still stuck with 80-eis with music of the Cure, just as I stuck inbetween days!

    I loce the Cure

  • awww esto me hace llorar :( muy buena

  • Just my favourite song ! Celle que je préfère, elle me cause toujours autant d'émotions qu'à mes 17 ans ! Robert is a perfect artist ! It's amazing to see him so changed physically, at 49 he looks big and old... but with still his marvellous sweet young voice ! (Drugs and alcohol made him puffy !!! It's sad, he was so cute)

  • For Kate !! x

  • Agree, The cure will be always in our hearts. Man....i really miss the 80's lol. Glad we still can see over the net.

  • love this song!!!

  • ive never seen a band thats so CONTENT on makin the crowd happy!!!

  • I agree that Robert sounds just as good now as he did back in the 80's and that's not something that a lot of older bands can match. Robert is absolutely gorgeous and anyone who thinks that Porl looks terrible can just go blow it. Can any of you complaining about Porl's looks play the guitar like he can? NO! His looks have nothing to do with his talent. Get over it

  • new wave still lingers..still a new wave babe and a staunch fan of The Cure

  • orra meu...se liga na tape da rapeize....num tah vendo que ti quero garota!!!!

  • funtastic and brilliant band.. it's been years but their music are never get old...

  • Their guitarist looks ridiculous in this video, great song though.

  • @Oenols dude that's Porl Thompson the legend..Go Cure!!

  • @Oenols Porl was always rediculous lol jk

  • @Oenols dont b a dick song is great guitarist is great , brings me back 2 good times

  • @mickwor1111

Yeah, they're all amazing, don't get me wrong.

  • I haven't heard this song in over ten years, but it's brought me back there.

  • Forever young song!!

    Great and amazing all times!!

  • i need a fucking time machine.

i miss it all sooooo much........

  • i know , it is sad

  • Robert is still stunning. It's amazing how hi voice is just as good as it was back in the early 80's.

  • no more keyboards!!!

  • Gddamn!

Cure 08' s got some guitar don't it!

    Rock on!

  • Robert looks absolutely splendid! better than ever before actually! wicked! and they sound just like heaven to me. As good as when I first heard them long, long..long,...long..ago...

  • no doubt,cure forever!

  • I totally agree, i still love the cure all these years on! They always were and still are fantastic!

  • Robert will always be Robert and who cares what he looks like now and he can still wear his eyeliner and.... Hello.... We all get older and some get a little cuddly but hell that makes him all the more to love...I have always loved and am a staunch fan of The Cure and I see nothing wrong in what any of them look like. They sound the same and are actually better the older they get. Like a wine they are only getting better...

  • awesome live band...everyone expresses themselves differently nothing wrong wth individuality.

  • @elvenwishes nicely said !

  • @watson1232 Thank you I just love Robert so he is just the ants pants for me :) and I am a female not like someone reckons I am a guy...lol

  • @elvenwishes

INDEED! and he left the world some very memorable music.

  • @elvenwishes true ! im their #1 fan , the best ! band watta gud old days 80's lolz i'm 41 still like and love their songs . gooo nuwaverrrrsssss

  • @tigaspinoypower I am 49 and even my 18 1/2 year old son likes some of their songs....and my son is not into alot of music I like...80's were awesome....wish at times I had a time machine :)

  • @elvenwishes Well, to see your favourite band get old might be scary for some people >.<

That could be the reason for commenting on his weight. The truth hurts! ESPECIALLY if it reminds that your are getting older o.0... for some people at least :)

  • I D LIKE SEE ALL OF YOU SKINNY people yo are hidding and writing completley noonsense.I THING ALL OF YOU ARE more fat than he ll ever B,,,,,and this is a some kind of CURE for YO oh ...R.S. is FAT SO i can B fat SHAME.i don t really see it at all he IS THE ONE..i don t care how he looks.HE S THE BEST

  • @XPUPA - not that i'm disagreeing with you, but your grammar sucks.

  • @electro676 I agree I had to read and re read and still got lost in it...

  • @XPUPA I am not fat I am slender but I have a friend who is my best friend who is rather large and she is the most amazing person alive. She is like the sister I never had she gets around & has more energy at times than I do, so anyone who mouths off about weight is just plain stupid. When people do hit a certain age most gain a few grams etc others might lose it but who really cares, are they hurting anyone? No only some ppl make snide remarks etc..

  • lol

    sadly, that's kinda true :(

  • @robertj98 o like to see yo after 30 y.he s the most sexy the work of art...SIMPLEY ELEGANT as HE LL B FOR EVER.EDDIE MURPHY...yeah maybe yo loook as him in the fat version in this film...LOOOL&O M fuckin god.

  • It means the entree isnt as good with out something on the side. sad but true

  • i just love this song

    the cure are the best

but i wish boris would come back

  • Needs keyboards tbh =|

  • it's incredible how this new drummer sucks!

his sound is horrible and his way of playing is awful!

the cure needs a REAL drummer!

  • @amigajenni - i have no idea what you're talking about, he's right on time. Who cares if it's special or not.

  • 1986 Merryweather Post Pavilion Baltimore...

  • FAT!....gotta take care of yourself...

  • mooi nummer

  • The harder guitarstyle is very good,,, for me it could be more harder than it is now..

  • Magnific Song...The Cure Forever

  • indeed this idiot keep visiting their videos and trash talking. get a life u fake music expert.

  • whats your problem prick. if you dont like them why are you making your pathetic comments on every song idiot

  • No matter where, or whatever song thet still sound amazing. How can anyone say that 'Mint car' wouldn't cheer you up.

    Shine on Robert Smith.

  • still one of the best damn bands out there. I've seen a shitload of bands shows and none take me back like The Cure.

  • i love this song

  • Lepiej słuchać niż patrzeć.

  • one of worlds best songs , its so happy :)

  • the melody is happy but not the words

  • living legend

  • Indeed Underneath the Stars has a magical drums arrangement. You´re quite right Vixxxvenus. In particular, you might well use this song for meditation. It is just out of this earth!.

  • The Cure MADE the 80s....awesome

  • Fuckin´ wanna-be musicians always present in the comments list. The Cure is one of the best prepared musicians in the arena of pop. Read something and keep playing your tambourine, Lilinye. That´s the sound it´s supposed to be and sounds great.

  • I love you, simply. Best comment youtube ever had

  • Gosh, that is a nice compliment. I love The Cure. Great band, honest, smart, excellent musicians, what can I say. Honest, I´ve found some weird comments such as, Robert Smith sings in "microtones" in the song Lost, and Lost´s spirit of the song is due to the difficulty of finding the right tone. Can you believe it?. Thanks again. I don´t know how to post you my e-mail in the background.

  • I'm with TeamPik, you really should be recognized as one of the awesome people on youtube. Hell, the internet.

I actually really like the drums on this, and 4:13 Dream is held up largely by the drums (Underneath the Stars, for example).

  • Many thanks Vixxxvenus. This version of the song in particular is one of my favourites, mainly because of the riff. You and TeamPik are awesome.

  • Well said fandepucca, yeah, wanna be musicians, they are everywhere, always know everything about everything, and Lilinye Jason Cooper is a professional drummer, he knows what he's doing, thats how he wants them to sound, he can do that. The Cure dont have shit musicians in the band.

  • For fuck sake, get off the HATE JASON COOPER bandwagon, and enjoy and comment about the music, if you dont like it, go listen to Take That or Cliff Richard or something.

  • 2004 en Monte do Gozo, Santiago de Compostela, España

  • me too

  • best song by far.

  • sorry. indeed. 1985. paris forever.

  • paris. 1986.

  • There are four profesional musicians playing here, not three.

  • the cure best band ever of aaaaaaaaaaaaaaall times =))))))) yep yep

  • Why are you so insulting about Jason? If he was as incompetent as you say, don't you think Robert would have sacked him? Maybe have you just need to insult someone... and no chance for Jason, he's the target !!!

  • you are total idiot, you can do for me a blowjob. The Cure play very nice, and you fuck off.

  • What's wrong with you?

  • Would you happen to be Gary Biddles?

  • The drummer is perfectly competent. What exactly are you not hearing, that Boris somehow had? He's playing the tune almost exactly the way it was recorded back in '85. F****** retards.

  • well said, there is alot of tone deaf fuckers out there

  • Finally some people agree with me that Jason Cooper is a perfectly good drummer and deserves a lot more credit then he's been dished out. I bet if we compared Boris Williams drum style to Jason Coopers we would find that Jason is just as talented if not more so than any other past Cure drummer. Jason haters need to pull there heads out of their asses and give the guy a fair chance.

  • JEBO you DRUMmers &other stuff(FOR NEARLLY 32y)they RULES......JUST RESPECT(THAT*S ALL I or anybody fuckin else CAN say)SO EASY like THAT JUST RESPECT)

  • Admittedly, Jason isn't the best drummer they've ever had but the way people seem to beat on him you'd be forgiven for thinking he was hitler or somthing.

Come, he's nt that bad, sdmittedly not the cures best but i've seen way worse drummers.

  • I have seen/heard worst drummers too but they were not playing with great bands!

I´ve been a fan since 1984 and jason lacks that creativity and sound of past drummers, specially Boris.

After 15 years, Bob must look for a new drummer.

  • Mr smith aint an idiot, he can see a good drummer miles off, thats why he picked J.C.

  • The problem is not his drumming style, it is the drums. They sound like tin cans.

  • Drums sound terrible bad!!!!!

    *

    *

    *

    xD

  • I prefered Jason Coopers earliest drumming with the band, find some live recording from 95 through 97, and his drum kit, and style sounds much better, more relaxed, and more powerful. Honestly.. So what happened? And these songs sound weaker, yes weaker, even with Porl's hyper-loud-spastic lead parts, as not having keys live takes away alot of the melody, and balance of the songs heavier guitar parts, the Cure has got to seriously re-tool their live setup in general...

  • Comment removed

  • I love The Cure. I love Robert Smith. I was merely responding to someone else who said that Robert looked like a fat pig in a wig! You should check the previous comments for proof of this!!!

  • Thats not nice

  • yup

  • Fightstar made this song alot more better

  • JASON SOUNDS BAD!

FAT BOB: remove that fuc*ing shit from your band!

  • Jason Cooper rocks. You haven't got a clue...

  • sorry but i agree with lemorttue. jason plays bad. always slow and sloppy. its clear that he has no confidence and always looks scared! that sucks!!!
