  • "Even i got rejected believe it or not"..lol now that was funny...

  • im black and live in america it really is not that bad for me atleast and i have a dark caramel complextion i have friends from diffrent races and this is from a boy in the south

  • what made you come to japan and teach english there just wondering.

  • Guys break hearts just as much as girls. Guys just give it a different label (players) and pretend it's OK (saying things like "but I'm a guy" as a weak excuse). It's the same on both sides.

  • I miss Emily. I actually liked her.

  • sorry for my english but u the first one answer me,,,,,,when i ask u about something u answer and not just with yes or no sorry u tell me where can i find what im looking for and that make smile and show u care and im thanking u :)

  • why do white ppl have to fuck it up for the rest of us.

  • Your information about the thing that happened with the "guy" is incredibly innaccurate. I think you need to know the whole story before you start spreading other stories. Your story was incredibly wrong, and it's turning into waruguchi just to bring emily up.

I think you were damasareta by a lot of what emily did. I've known emily BEFORE youtube, and the way your defending her is clear that you don't know the whole truth about the situation.

  • I'm not saying this to get you angry or anything, it's just that I'm upset because your not saying the 100% truth, you're only stretching it to make Emily look good. The thing that happened in Japan is said totally ascewed.

Anyway, I've never felt welcomed to the Jvlog community because I always felt, and was also told BY Emily, that you hate me. You don't seem to support anything with me so, I don't feel and never have felt welcome.

also, Eliteism DOES exist. I make a vid bout it

  • I think a good example of how unfair some people were towards Emily is her page on encyclopedia dramatica.

  • I love hearing your opinions on things. :3 Very insightful and nice to hear. Keep on keepin on :D!

  • Thanks for all the past videos and future videos, as it's always interesting to hear sane discussions on hot topics. I never saw Emily's "donation" video and I won't even comment on what she should or shouldn't do regarding it. I will say that at 21 she is way more with it and ambitious than I was at that age and something tells me this goes the same for those who are cruel to her. (well maybe more so) From those who have met her it seems her persona on YT is not the same as her true self.

  • Victor is number 1! Yea about the whole racism issue, it does suck here in the states. I still get called Latino and White slurs like spic or cracker just because I'm Portuguese. Just gotta get over it I guess.

  • It's interesting that you mention how creators change and the viewers not liking it. I am going through that right now. I'm not really doing much Japanese stuff anymore, and people don't like it. There are people that find my old videos and then send a message or post on my profile complaining that I don't make anymore Japanese videos. That's why I told you (or maybe Hiko) that I don't really feel a part of the community anymore.

  • @ChemistInJapan

Sorry to hear that, but totally respect you wanting to do what you want.

You'll always be a part though. Sorry! THere is NO ESCAPE!

  • Actually I think now Arabs have it worse than black people.

  • Hey Victor. Just since you were talking about appreciation, I wanted to say I still love watching your stuff. A guy that is actually saying something, and not just being a moron (not usually-haha). :) Cheers Victor!

  • @lifeCinematic

    Thanks, man!

  • Next time a white (American) person says they feel singled out by a Japanese person, pick up a WWII history book and STFU. I can't believe how lucky we are that they accept us so readily.

  • Another good vlog.

After seeing all of the 'Racism in Japan' vids on YouTube, I have to say I was surprised at how little I felt it or was aware of it when I finally got there. I didn't even experience 'being looked at' as much as I had expected.

  • Videos like this really make me think. I like that, and I like the fact that you're frank and honest, but at the same time I think you're very tactful about making your points. You have an opinion, but I really feel like you've put thought into what you say. I share your opinions on most of what you talked about, but I still found these vids insightful and am very thankful for you taking the time to share your insight with the rest of us :)

  • People don't appreciate how much time you (and other j-vloggers) put into these videos. When you have a job and a family, you don't have much spare time. So when you take that small amount of spare time, and decide to give it up to people that are struggling, it sickens me to see people just take and take. It's good to see you be so positive about it, but it still sucks. I would just like to personally thank you for helping me get through some of the rough patches of the language.

  • anyway victor, you're free to message me sometime about it again to learn a few things since the narrative in your head is still unbelievably hazy. enjoy your old emily gravure porn or whatever it is.

  • @raspberrysyrup Why would he have old applemilk porn laying around? Looks like it's in immaculate condition, however!

  • i was dumped by her? come on victor, how could you possibly be so into her personal situation enough to collect her old softcore porn magazines, yet so oblivious to the most basic tenants of what happened? you knew this shit years ago. you were even trying your best to forge some relationship with her ~before~ i even left japan, don't you remember?

i think 19-years-old is enough given age to mentally comprehend your behavior and how others perceive it or how they react to it but that's just me.

  • thank you for posting this, its unbelievably unnerving and fucking irritating to hear white people complain about being victims of racism. if they face that in another country maybe it can be a learning experience and they can better understand the feelings of people of color in america.

  • Its racism; just not on the same level as the kind faced by most minorities of one kind or another here in the US.

  • As an Asian, I have to tell you. Please go tell all of your WHITE friends that 90% of the time, when a Japanese person says "Gaijin" it's a positive thing. They even compliment people by saying "oh you look have Gaijin features." and that is a good thing in their culture. in conclusion, despite the pokerface they put up as a front in the subway, JAPANESE LOVES WHITE PEOPLE! If anything 80% of the Japanese are racist toward to other Asians but NOT WHITE. They look up to WHITE people.

  • Thank you.

  • when I was born I was BLACK When I grew up I was BLACK When Im sick Im BLACK When I go in the sun Im BLACK When Im cold Im BLACK When I die ill be BLACK When you are born youre PINK When you grow up youre WHITE When youre sick youre GREEN When you go in the sun you turn RED When youre cold you turn BLUE And when you die you turn PURPLE And you have the nerve to call me colored The black man then sat back down and the white man walked away
  • @iKroNicAlz

Funny. Not really accurate, but funny.

  • elitism in a sense that many jvloggers are having the sense of "know-all", and not even having a sense (attitude) of welcoming newcomers/visitors to Japan or amateurs on Japanese language, culture, lifestyle. "know-all" in a sense that "doesn't mean they know they can speak the language that they can be ahead of people", i do believe that there are many people do search for their (jvlogger's) knowledge and attempt to be as humble as they can in search of knowledge. be the same level as amateurs.

  • @windiesman

    Thanks. Good comment.

  • oh how about a video of you and jupundit talking about japan back in the day? that'd be so cool!

  • i never requested anything, but i thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I enjoy getting looked at. Wether it's wrong or right attention. It's better to know that you exist and your precense is known!

  • @LookSquirrel

    Good point.

  • cercl

  • Also I get what your talking about people like to put others in boxes label them and when you try something diffrent they can't get it I like to mix things up so Im a bit of an odd ball because I hate labels on people.

  • Thanks for all the videos you do on behalf of everyone your the subsription I watch the most and I really enjoy your vids.

  • I disagree about what you said about musicians who change style. Most people tend to like certain genres of music, and so they listen to people that make that kind. So if someone they like changes their style to something they dont like, of course they are going to be mad/disappointed. What if your wife suddenly changed her personality to something totally different that you didnt like. Would you just be like "oh well" and accept it? Of course not!

  • 9:27 - end = BANG ON. Thank you.

  • your so right about people coming to Japan and misinterpreting the attention they receive as racism. It seems to me that they perceive any attention that makes them uncomfortable as racism and it's simply their lack of research about how they will be received by members of the Japanese population.

  • Almost always agree to what you're saying. Theres crazy people all over the place. But sometimes you (a.i we) too will be crazy.

I completely understood what you said about not getting a thanks or response. But also I understand the thing about not being able to respond to everyone for someone famous like you. ;P

I got 89 subs, which is amazing and I'm so thankful for it. I, because Im not famous and supergreat, would like abit more comments and feedback. ^^'> Dont like to complain though.

  • Thank you for all the japanese lessons and thank you to MAGGIE sensei for her great lessons and pictures, too.

    ^__^

  • Victor, I am surprised you would even admit to being dumped, PERIOD!

  • Just like when HannahMinx decided to wear a shirt that covered up her boobs and people hated he for it.

personally, I liked the change..sometimes I want to watch a video without seeing some girl's breast.

  • New fan :) Thanks for the videos. Just subscribed!

  • CERCL

  • I appreciate your videos :)

I have been watching for ages

If I had the money I would donate ;)

    but this christmas is stressful.

  • You sir are wise beyond your years and I refuse to believe that you've ever been dumped! Very good and vid on what racism in Japan is about!

  • A hudsome devil like you has gotten dumped before? :O!!

  • ありがとう for all your videos

  • korean and they tell me that they feel people stare at them all the time (at least when we are outside of toronto in a smaller town). until that experience of being on the recieving end, i thought they were just being paranoid or overly sensitive. now i realize it's probably true. it's not a hateful thing (most of the time) but ignorance or curiosity about people with different skin pigment or features.

once people are subjected to it themselves, they won't do it to others, knowingly or not.

  • gracias por tus videos!

  • i was in japan 6 months ago only for about 2 weeks. i felt that people would look or stare at me (white female) but not in a mean way... just like "hey look. a white girl" and i was actually grateful for the experience. sometimes i did feel a little uncomfortable but i think it's something all white people should feel at least once in their lifetime. we don't realize how easy we have it a lot of the time. we take our "majority" status for granted. my husband is chinese and my best friend is

  • Arigatoo.

  • lol i would look back....hell i can practice my staring skill :D

  • i use all of those racist words 8) lol jk

  • CERCL

  • THANK YOU VICTOR~! Srsly, I appreciate the videos you make so much : 3

  • Thank You for everything^^

  • That was a very interesting vid, the racism thing is true, i get looked at weird here in Oregon cuz I'm hispanic. doesn't bother me anymore but still, it happens. :)

  • I think your right on point with the racism thing, it seems to be most prevalent among white people who go to Japan probably because in most of the countries that they come from are places where white people make up a sizable majority and they aren't used to being a hugely small minority. I also think it is demeaning to anyone who has experienced true racism to use that tag so loosely, and if anyone wants to give me crap and say that I'm racist or whatever keep in mind I'm white too.

  • i miss Emily

  • ☆☆☆☆☆

    cheers

  • I think that KevJumba became a tool to youtube....

  • I think that when unrested took a break from youtube for a few months due to family changes, you could see exactly what you were talking about in terms of the ingratitude of subs. The guy was moving and having a child, and people couldn't stop bitching about his lack of videos. And he still takes the time to respond to emails and PMs and so forth. Then there's myargonauts, who is super helpful and courteous, and you who so graciously promotes other j-vloggers. Elitist? Not by a long shot!

  • So true, I truely admire those people who take the effort to actually make these informational and entertaining movies. I try to atleast thumbs up a response or constructively comment on such things.

Thank you for your advice and please keep up with your great video's!

  • Thank you for your contributions to youtube.

  • Wetback? Never heard that one before. What does it mean?

  • @Degenskonto It's a term for illegal immigrants because they have to waid across the Rio

Grand to get here, getting their backs wet in the process.

  • @smokyp3nguin Okay, thanks

  • Thank you very much for the time that you put in here and on Maggie-Sensei, both are very helpful.

  • i just wanted to say although I have never asked for content on maggiesensei and I have never donated mostly cause I have none...but I always thank you for your hardwork on it.

    CERCL.!

    Thanks Victor.

  • I disagree with your contention that it's somehow "not racism" (9:34) when Japanese people stare/talk about/ignore foreign people. Actually, it is textbook racism. Obviously it's not as bad as some of the other more hideous forms of racism, and obviously it's better than the racism times in the past, but it IS quite clearly racism. Ignoring it and passing it off is unimportant does little to push the moral zeitgeist forward. Personally I'd rather talk about it when it happens than ignore it.

  • @LEV1ATHYN WHAT? if you see something/ anything you have never or rarely seen before you going to stare at it and talk about it. Doesn't matter if its a person, thing or whatever. The ignoring someone because it's foreign could be considered racism. but not 100% of the time it has to do with the "intent" of the action in question not solely just action. Using the term so loosely does more harm than good. People should not be so sensitive. Most people have never experienced "true' racism.

  • could you post her profile link

  • @Gopfs

    Who?

    Applemilk1988??

  • Your comments on racism are soooo on TARGET!

  • @CrappyCartoons

You are being TOO agreeable. I no longer believe anything you write! LOL!

  • Thanks for getting back to me all the time.

  • how do u know so much about her dude

    ? lol

  • @Eyobe1

    Watch part 1.

  • @Gimmeaflakeman I did watch it lol, I commented too. It's just that you seem to know a lot about her i was just suprised

  • cercl~

  • thanks for all the lessons, that you and your family have made and i have continued to like and enjoy you humor that you bring to the J-vlogger community.

  • Why 2nd video about that girl?Just wondering

  • @japenter

If you watch part 1 you'd see the big subtitles on the screen. Glitch..

  • MANNERS. The Internet has none of it. =/

  • You said "women are cruel."

    I disagree. They are crazy.

  • Sorry my thought is rather sporadic, but nevertheless...You say its worse, but I would have to say No there not oppressed as they were from the time that lynching was possible(blacks). And this is important to note b/c whites will treat hispanic/blacks differently just as Japanese people will treat whites differently, and yet hispanic/blacks are given first priority. Idk man I just fail to see, in today's society, this unbalance difference.

  • This, and the last, was a very good video, although I was startled by your talk on racism. From what I heard you say you said: racism was different for a white in Japan (you gave examples) than for a black/hispanic in America. I'm certain they are different, but you seem to give blacks and hispanic first priority. Racism is to an extent something that is never clearly defined, and mostly used to silence others(most of the time whites). You even apologized to say N-...

  • Thanks for all the hard work! No, uh, you didn't guilt me into saying that or anything. Shh.

  • I don't think that raspberry kid and Emily were ever dating. I think they were friends and she ditched him in Tokyo or something, not that it makes a big difference one way or the other.

  • @angel21d

Yeah, but he whined like a ditched boyfriend.

  • "Youth always makes things forgivable." That's the quote of the day. Excellent job.

  • and what racism? pigs fly... don't they?

i even had a time when we were at a really fancy restaurant with my gf (now wife) and her family (in japan).. and the couple sitting beside us were so surprised that i could hold chopsticks so well.. i'm Canadian.... but Chinese.............

  • thank you for your, your wife's, and maggie's work. i really do appreciate everything you guys go.. People who bust your balls about making content should just hit the books. Your videos are only a piece of every learner's pie. If all of you want to learn japanese, there's no cutting corners! you learn with all your resources.

For the girl who ran out with donations. yes it was wrong, but desperate times = desperate measures. when you asked your students, they said they would sell their bodies

  • In response to being white in Japan. It gets better. Actually, its pretty bad ass. Omg, I have been on a shit ton of dates with beautiful women.

  • @hippykiller1

    LOL! Good for you.

  • I don't know man, I have to say I think Applemilk1988 made a lot of people hate her by being an arrogant person.. I, personally, found her appalling!

  • I think people need to get over racism. There has always been racism and always will be. I think we should just ingnore it.

  • @A7x2393 "All that is required for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing." -- Edmund Burke

  • @Rekkie88 Good quote but think about it, there are just things in this world that will never change.

  • @A7x2393 Heh. Maybe, i do however like to think that it will change someday. =P

  • @Rekkie88 I think we all would like that

  • For sure man. I think it's better to just say straight out " I don't want to be with you anymore" than dragging it out. Better to be honest.

  • I love your uncut opinions vids like this!! You don't get many non-"phony" vloggers here on youtube and it's always really refreshing.

  • You Victor? Rejected? I'll hold you to that statement. lol.

  • I find it quite hypocritical of you that you put ads on your videos and yet you expect someone to thank you? No one needs to thank you because Youtube is thanking you. You're earning them money, and you're getting some back. Shouldn't that enough of an incentive. But no, you even need the community to kiss your ass even more. You're already earning money bro, so shut up and make content for us.

  • @D3R1CKZ :: i think if you really knew how much was made versus how much work victor puts in his videos... uhhhhh it's obvious he is doing the videos because he likes to. and victor is just a loyal person, and i think is maybe disappointed in those who are not as loyal. does that mean crediting him all the time? probably not but lack of a simple 'hey what's up how yah doing?' can be hurtful, especially when there was so much interaction before. my two cents.

  • @D3R1CKZ

I find it quite dishonest for you to misinterpret my message in this video. If someone asks me a question or to make a lesson for them here or on Maggiesensei (where there are no adverts, asshole) then is it too much to ask for a simple, THANKS FOR ANSWERING MY QUESTION! ? (A rhetorical question. Do not attempt to answer.)

BTW, the time it took me to answer your moronic statement/accusation is worth more than you deserve or YT pays me. You ow me change, buddy! LOL!

  • Well, an alternative would be for youtubers to thank you in advance, right?

    TIA

  • @CalgaryAlpineStyle

Yes, that would be fine. I'm not asking for ass kissing. Just politeness.

  • Thank you for being honest and sincere.

  • I've been watching you for about a year now too. Andy Rooney..LOL!!! Hey!!! I PM"d you once a long time ago to no response.. Its ok, Hiko answered my questions. LOL!!! In retrospect they may have been questions that you may have done a video about or felt they were just not worth prioritizing. At the time I was thinking "elitist". Not anymore a year later knowing what I know now you do massive amount of work for us for free. But you do know we lov ya for it!!! ne?

  • People are single minded! opening your mind to world will bring a lot more enjoyment in your life.

  • @APOKALYPSE34

Yes. And get a gun just in case. To shoot the bastards that disagree! LOL!

  • i think its better to make you happy... dont wait for the thank yous that dont come... do what you do cause you thank yourself.... u should be more selfserving...

  • Victor! I'd like to add, that things have really changed here in the U.S. as well. People have been brainwashed into being PC Zombies. And in fact, pop-culture today has made it OK for racism to be expressed towards white people. No one flinches at a derogatory joke or name directed towards a white person. Even white people don't flinch at it. Though it effects daily life/ business opportunities. Being mixed myself (hispanic/white) I've experienced both sides. Racism is racism.

  • Watching this and thinking about the comments made by rhymingaijin, I just realised I am sexist. Emily being a girl I am willing to chalk up what she did to her inexperience. If she had been a guy (of any color) I would have immediately felt scammed.

I never realized that about myself before.

  • at 10:22, they really gotta get their heads out of their asses and just deal with it. people as of late just wanna cry and bitch over a small ego scratch

  • Great video Victor. I agree with you on everything you said.

i think the j-vlog community is very open and warm. I also agree that when you ask for something, you should be willing to hold up to your end of the bargain or give something back. It's also very true that being stared at as a gaijin isn't racism...it's curiosty! Great vid my man.

  • I really like your wisdom, I may not agree with everything you say completely, but I you are very wise in my opinion

  • I WON THE BATTLE OF MIDDLE EARTH !

    k, w/e

  • I'm sorry Victor.. I just can't excuse age for what she did. BUT like I said yesterday I don't know all the facts or her side of the story. People can be angry about it.. but they also didn't have to give her any money either.

I always try and say "Thank you for all your hard work" in the comments just to show a little appreciation for the great lessons. Even though sometimes it doesn't seem like enough.

Thanks for all your hard work. Interesting video =D

  • you know, when people are just talking about you because they dont think you speak japanese, I think it would be quite funny to just jump in and join their conversation like theyre talking about somebody else and not you, just give them a little shock

Also, I think I usually sent some sort of message back when i asked a question but in case I didnt, thanks, seriously, You make some funny and informative videos and I really do appreciate them

  • @drhikarisan

I've done that. People are like WAAAA! Mouths open!

  • Thank you

  • part of the reason why i watch you is because your so involved with the community and i feel more like we are friends rather than me as just an audiance.wow that sounds satastic and crazy lol , but serioulsly i really do appreciate the way you and your channels are.

  • @andrew24p

Nice comment, man. Appreciate the sentiments. BTW, I'm moving Sat. Can you help? j/k

  • 4chan also hacked applemilks youtube some time ago. i think people are inherently selfish, in a way they expect a certain kind of service from the people they're subbed to, and when they aren't given the service they "deserve", they get angry.

  • What? Is that Tony Soprano on the Boos poster? Lol.

  • @OfLaSoul I think that is Tommy Lee Jones. If I'm not mistaken, Boss is a Coffe of some sort and TLJ is the face of the brand.

  • What you do is great and you ROCK sir.

  • On mostly unrelated note... Steve Martin is a kick ass banjo player.

  • cant disagree with anyting you said,,,

  • "gaijin daaa" hehehaha, i think I'd be flattered for the attention lol

    cercl

  • Great remarks at the end about claims of "racism" by white people in Japan. I have been thinking about just that ever since we talked the other day, and you basically echoed my thoughts. Good job!

  • victor your a legend i hope i do some videos when i go to japan its the plan anyway

  • I thought that replying with a thank you would spam up your mailbox. dident know how much trouble it was for you already so I'd usually give it a pass. Same with other vloggers.

Gonna keep it in mind from now on :P

  • @SkeenBot5000

I'm only saying to just tell me you got my answer/video/blog IF you asked for it. If you didn't...well then that's just icing on my cake! :)

  • If I were Japanese I'd probably check out foreigners as well. It's kind of human nature to look at unfamiliar faces, isn't it? Japan is >98% Japanese, so seeing whitey as you go farther from tourist destinations becomes more novel. Comparing the reaction of a person to seeing a foreign race when you grow up in a monocultural environment vs. a multicultural one is apples and oranges.

  • This segment had some good topics!

  • In my eyes, messypro has always been part of the J-Vlogging community. I've been subscribed to him for about a year. He's done some good videos about moving to Japan and getting jobs in teaching. Check out footage of him in the classroom. He seems to really connect with the students. Good guy.

  • @anothertalkinghead

Yeah, he's been around. I don't think he really doubted it. I think he was just talking to talk... just like I do.

  • I gotta say, these two video's pretty much had nothing to do with racism

  • @Zenex666

    ???? Yo ears broke, son?

  • Hey. Teaching's a thankless job. So's being the king of the Morons.

But I love Maggie sensei lessons. So thank you! :D

  • I am so sorry for my lack of gratitude toward you for your reply's. Thank you a billion times. I have done the advert on a couple of my 30 subs. But I will open all your advert and give my 2 penny's or yen. I go to the end of your videos, and even if I must pause to answer the phone, I always come back.

  • @TubaBuddha

Did you ask for something? I am not trying to guilt trip you guys! LOL!

  • Looks like Japan needs more Gaijins, tjhen. In Frankfurt, Germany, ca. 24% of the population is not German. Nobody there stares at you just because you're a foreigner. The folks in Franjfurt even got used to the naked guy (Jörg, a German) who decided long ago that clothing isnt for him and hardly anybody even blinks anymore when he shows up naked.

  • @bassbacke

    Seriously? Naked all the time!?

  • @Gimmeaflakeman When it gets below 0° C outside the City of Frankfurt ordered him to wear something (he would get into trouble with the police if he doesn't comply) but other than that he really is naked all the time and carries all (or most?) of his belongings in plastic bags. Germany is pretty open about such freedoms and the City of Frankfurt am Main especially I think.

  • @bassbacke I wish america were so free.

Its so prudish, the closest thing texas has to a nude beach is a private company owned ex-quarry turned to a lake thats more useful for suntanning than swimming due to it being all rocks. Its 18+ only and hard to get to, and aside from the rich that have boats on the lake, its mostly just visited by homosexuals. People already used to being out of supposedly normalsy.

Its legal for women to go topless in austin, but most dont even know it.

  • @bassbacke You may see once or twice a week at the public pool a girl using her freedom, and most dont care. Nudity isnt a bother to anybody of any age that doesnt let it bother them.

But being a nudist here, its rough. You have to be a closet nudist and deal with the uncomfortable clothing 24/7.

May not seem much for some, but I actually have sensative skin, the little things in life that bother me.

  • @bassbacke i would give Jorg a big brofist if i ever see this legend.

  • Yea but it also is sucks to be called an american boy by your cuzs. Just cause i can't go to the country where i came from doesn't mean i don't care about it. And also defending my father who tries to speak English but people still mock him assuming i can't speak english when i'm standing right next to him. I gotta say it does sux to be a first gen american but it's also a privilege. Thnx for the insight on the semi-racism in japan but i think i just curiosity.

  • The owner of my local fast-food restaurant makes a big deal out of it every time he gets a white customer (this is in Norway), I've never seen anyone beeing offended by him. (well except once when he accused a guy of beeing racist for not wanting onions on his burger..) :p

  • I know how racism feel in the U.S. I have not been called names as much as other people might have. The way I perceive the racism is whenever I go to places where usually white people go, I would get stared for even being there. The last time I felt like that was the time I went to buy a new Mac computer for college. After like 1/3 hr that the store opened I didn't get any help. Anyhow, even though is not as bad as it used to but still out there.

    Nice vid.

  • Also I can understand why people bitch so much about when a person on Youtube changes , people subscribe to a genre. I don't know if I would even be subbed to you if it was not for the J-community. I love rap music , and if I did not consider Messypro a J-vlogger I would of never met the rapper / Jvlogger hybrid. So I think when someone tries to change it upsets people because its not what they signed up for. Sorry for the 3 long comments!

I've been watching You for over a Year Now , and Your slowly Morphing into the "Andy Rooney" of the J-Volger Community, at this rate, by this time next Year You'll most likely be yelling at Kids to stay off Your Lawn... ;)

  • @mattadams007

LOL! Seriously lold at that. I am a KAMINARI OYAJI!

  • @Gimmeaflakeman Thunder parent?

  • It could be hard though because the J-vlog community has standards so I can see where people question if they are in the group. I've saw some people like Tokyo brando make Jvlogger videos and it just seems fake , and that's kind of how misshannaminx is too. There just not all that... Japaneesy? The truth is anyone can make a youtube account and say " i love japan!" and teach some words. But you respond to people with information.. and I honestly respect this channel for that.

  • If the guy was douchebag enough to make her life impossible after the break up, it's safe to say he was not a real man to begin with. What a dick. As for racism youtube: Everyones A Little Bit Racist. Its a nice a song. Whites (maybe others too) just expect for everything to be the same when they are in a FOREIGN place. A little staring? Pfft, looks don't kill people. Oh and Victor, if I ever ask a question/favor and you answer I'll be sure to thank you and give a cyber hug+molest :D

  • Rofl @ some of the comments. Random question when people are talking about you in Japanese right in front of your face do you make witty comments like "you know, it's not nice to talk about people that are right in front of you" or something along those lines? because it seems like a really amusing thing to do to someone. I feel like it's something I would do, if my Japanese was actually any good.

Yes, I have done that. But to be fair, I was down in Argentina once and these 2 old British ladies were having a huge conversation about how I should be walking down the 4 flights of stairs instead of waiting for the elevator. They assumed I was Argentinian and did not speak English. I told them that I had just spend 3 days walking back from Brazil and was really tired. Without blinking they just insisted that it really wasn't much more to walk then.
