    2. men are either drunk or boring

    3. house prices are nuts

    4. the tv is shite

    5. its 80% chinese

  • @rightfredsdead

O_e Um, we do have a sense of humour.

No, our men are not either drunk or boring.

House prices are not nuts. WTF. What does house prices have to do with anything?

The T.V. is not shit. Don't go bagging our TV just because it's infected with crap from overseas.

It's not 80% Chinese. Have you ever thought about the truckloads of refugees from ALL OVER THE WORLD that we get in Australia?

Don't watch these videos if all you're going to do is bag Australia.

  • @YOURfaceHAHification well, i like the old aussies thats for sure. anyone over 45 (ish). the ones before australia got 'up itself'. the new generation are all full of shit and think the place is the bees knees. maybe it was pre 1980. after that i found it to be souless.the women were air heads and the blokes spent most of the day in knee length shorts witht eh southern cross over it. i like you though. your an old school aussie. the new generation are badly letting you down.

  • lol one thing he hasn't said about aus Cheers and mate

  • #6. Look for Miss Natalie Tran, aka "Community Channel"

  • My five things about Australia. Great People, Great life, Great White Shark, Funnel Webs and Snakes. But don't be put off about visiting this great country. It's rare to get killed by any of them... Camels can be a bit of nuisance when you're driving 120km in the territory and Tipans can give you a nasty nip = ))

  • @waynejingo Nicely said

  • Great speech! Your english is pretty good.

  • that was 2 mate

  • @wtfhotdogsandmilf, fuck off you dirty wankstain!

  • @GLORD99092 You stalking me init .... bruv go suck on a bag pipe or summit ur really getting boring.

  • The sun can be pretty harsh? More like extremely harsh! I went to Melbourne for a few weeks in December, and I put on some sunscreen when I went out to swim. I'm from Michigan, which is pretty far from the equator, so I didn't think about putting on more sunscreen than I do normally. Well to tell you as it is, I STILL have a tan on my legs from December 15th, 2009.

  • @albabazot mate stand up and say that to an aussie.

Then you better hope you can out run him or her.

  • @aphabet123 Agreed, but I leave it here so people can see the fool that this albabazot is!

  • @aphabet123

Again, I say boycott Australia. They are fucking racists. At least 90 percent of them are, if not all of them. I am moving to other channels and let people over the world know who you are.

hahaha, even im australian and i have to agree with you there :)

  • @albabazot 1 dick head my best mate is black so that proves ur a fuck head

    2 ur a fuck head

  • @albabazot I have friends who are black, I have friends who are Jews and I have friends who are Asians. Some are smarter than me, some are not, but I'm not really fussed about whether they'll "steal my jobs" in the future.

  • @albabazot Your negative personal experience of Australia is not a conclusive reason to generalise about all Australians.

  • @albabazot maybe thats because ur a dumb cunt

  • @albabazot and you said that we worry that people overseas will steal our jobs...? i'm sorry for the bad experience you had here, but recently we've got a new government (well, recently as in 3 years ago, I'm not sure if getting a new candidate for the same party counts). but i didn't think many places overseas sold Australian products.

  • I wasn't born here, came here when i was 8. But i love this country, no way i'll leave.

    Best things about Aus:

    -Beer

    -Beaches

    -Sports especially Rugby league!!!!

I got pride in me old country and got heaps of aussie pride too. Idc if im born somewhere else. I live here therefore im aussie :) Ye idk wat else to mention about aus, hard to think atm for me sorry. Thx for the vid mate.

  • instead of the union jack, there should be a carton of VB. instead of the southern cross there should be a few meat pies, some ciggies, a beach, and a bunch of real men wearing holden jackets.

  • Thats so true allybeachbab3, us north queenslanders take water for granted. I hope the weather can make its way down south shortly before the wet season is over. And also what the hell is a ranch??? Isnt that what texas poeple have in the US? Depending what your growing, breeding or mustering their called farms, properties or stations.

  • Whats the last one, No. 5?? i cant understand it.

  • number 5 was learn to be water wise, we all have very strict rules on how much water we can use thats y most people have a bore but still to b used minimumly.

  • @0815tobey, 5 is learn to be water wise

[we are in a 10 year drought]

  • 3 questions australians always answer themselves! 1 what your favourite colour BLUE? 2 whats your favourite hobby SPORT? 3 whats your wifes name SHEILA?

  • I love blue, maybe I should move to Australia, seems I'd fit.

  • soo not true and you tell me how many Aussies you know that actually have a first name as Sheila

  • I plan on moving after college to Northern Territory to open an Cattle Ranch

  • We call em Stations here mate

  • I just got back from Australia and I already want to go back.. i spent a semester studying at JCU .... pretty much the best time of my life!!!! love Oz

  • Last one... VERY good point..I talk to people from around the world , and to many our strict water guidelines would be a major shock. *water plant - turn around - see cop with taser pointing at you!!!* Not quite, but many visitors would not think the way we do about watering, short showers, careful clothes washing, washing cars etc.

  • `THATS COOL

  • Stolen land from the Aboriginals... And before you say that happend long time ago .Australia practised a WHITE ONLY immgration police until the 1970s!!

AND until the 1960s the Aboriginals were classified as Fauna and Flora meaning the Aboriginals were classified as animals.... But I guess you are not responsible for that either??

  • Yawn, you finished rubbishing us yet?

  • Interesting comment - it was your lot that came here and took the place for yourselves as I recall. Your remarks are not a slur on Australians as I think you hope them to be, they are a slur on your lot.

  • I'm part-Aborigine by the way. One other thing Trader226, don't get your adjectives and nouns muddled up - you should have said 'Stolen the land from the Aboriginies' or perhaps 'Aboriginal people', but not 'Aboriginals'. You ignorant smart-arse.

  • god it wasnt us that did it, it was our great great great great relations or watever... shut up with you fucking anti racial shit, you fucking coon

  • Steady on there, and enough with referring to people as "coon". The ONLY time that word is acceptable is when it refers to "Coon Cheese" cos it was teh guys Surname.

  • hmm, don't be a hypocrite, it would be a bit like me taking 20 minute showers and telling people to stop wasting water. Trader226, are you australian? and you know since the 1970's the australian government has done more than enough for the aboriginal people, including giving them more welfare benefits, giving them back an island, and funding for a hell of a lot.

  • your-part make it up loser! if your abo u wouldn't bother commenting becoz it's been over 100 years....I have nothing agents abos but ur a total fake! suck it up fuk wit

I just spent a lot of time in the states and i don't think australia experiences one cold day a year compared to the shit i had to deal with. It's warmer in the dead of winter even down in melbourne than it is in some places during summer. We got it fucking awesome as far as weather is concerned

  • It should be the national anthem.

  • Snow only at Blue Mountains? Are you kidding me? What about Thredbo, Mt Kosciosko, Snow Mountains, Mt Hotham, Mt Buffalo, Falls Creek, etc etc etc. You should get out further than Sydney, mate.

  • Notes taken. Water wise? I imagine I'll be ok as long as I only swim out in the ocean as far as everyone else is, or within the nets if there are any? Just had an interview last Wednesday for studying abroad, I'm trying for next February now, and if my heart's racing now, I imagine how it will be if I receive a letter of acceptance!

  • Um, 'water wise' refers to not wasting any of it - we're the driest continent on earth bar Antarctica remember hehehe.

  • Oops sorry, my bad. But yes, I've heard of that as well. I've heard of the suggestion to take only 4 or 5 minute showers and such, don't worry. I'm taking notes as I go so I can accommodate my surroundings and whatever needs there are.

  • Did you know, that during the first world war, parcels would be sent from home to our troops containing...gum leaves, the troops would burn them and with tears in there eyes instantly be reminded of home, true story.

  • I bought a Mark Webber baseball cap on saturday. I just thought you should know....

  • I Just drank a coffee from a mug with no autograph on it at all. Just thought you should know. ;)

  • ALL my mugs have autographs on them.

  • Including the ones that don't.

  • The duck-billed platypus is my favourite animal of all time. Just thought you should know...

  • That's very nice to know

  • what about telling people that not everyone puts up aussie flags everywhere, and it's mostly just the nationalists that believe in one nation. speaking of which, why not mention that australia is mostly beautifully enriched with multiculturalism? it's something not often recognised internationally until they come to australia and see it for themselves! :)

  • Have you even LOOKED at my previous videos? Instead of complaining to me about my shortcomings on this video, why nt do something positive and make a 5 Facts video response yourself? Everyone sees things a little differently from their own vantage point.

  • Are you still being overrun by field mice?

  • field mice? more like marupials rodents the size of a medium to large dog LOL

  • so nice to see a true ozzie channel, so many people turn into international channels, worried that its easier to attract the US audience.....bloody ripper.

  • Oh I'm just me and I'm not changing to suit any 'demographic' they either like what I put up here or they are free to leave. Thanks for commenting.

  • Hehe, I'm watching this from the UK, it is because it's an Ozzie channel that it is an international channel! :D

  • I enjoyed this Geoff, but I'm sorry about a couple of the comments I've read. I don't understand why people have to do that. :(

  • Ah well, I've left their comments so all can see what they're like hehehe. Thanks for stopping by.

  • i watched a (youtube) documentary about Australia and they said most of your prime ministers were chosen for their peculiar eyebrows, so if one visits Australia they could wear eyebrow-wigs and be instantly popular :)

  • LOL, that's way out of date, and was about women voters. BUt it's a fun fact.

  • "It's not Australian to be better than anyone. We don't have a drive to be the best and fastest" i know you guys along with your Kiwi brothers gave up years ago! And it shows! Maybe thats the difference..the english do have that drive to be the best. Which would probably explain why you white guys live in australia in the first place.

  • We're secure enough in our own strengths and weaknesses that we don't HAVE to prove a thing. If you feel the need to put shit on people in order to make yourself feel better, then perhaps YOU need some professional help.

  • really? well do me a favour and list the things australia are strong at?..because off the bat i cant think of anything... weigh up the cons and pros of australia...you might realise something.

  • I don't suppose simply asking would make you go away?

  • Knew you couldnt do it hah, yeh ill go away if you want. Then your video comment board will probably just be dead.

  • Whatever you say. Ever thought of becoming a diplomat? I'm sure there are wars out there just waiting for you to start them.

  • Only in my wildest dreams gigolo.

It's not Australian to be better than anyone. We don't have a drive to be the best and fastest, we prefer to sit down at the pub and play footy.

But if you want to swap score cards we could bring up swimming and surfing, or perhaps soccer and cricket, rugby and netball... etc etc.

Maybe you just learn to relax brother, have a beer, a smile... and chill dude.

  • WEll said.

  • Comment removed

  • ENjoy it mate!

  • How about the fact that aussies hate the english because your jealouse of us. why? because you have to sport a union jack on your pathetic flag. Your not a great country your just another English colony, you cant beat us at anything and youll never be as good as us. :D G'day.

  • Hm, I'd have to disagree with that. But hey, that's your opinion.

And, we did beat you in something. A few words for you. England. Australia. Cricket. White wash. Owned.

  • You tell em love!

  • Yawn!

  • G'day:)

  • G'day to you too mate!

  • G'day!

    I'll get there someday!

  • The sooner the better!

  • i'm packing my suitcase as i type

    lol

    ;-}

  • Good one!

  • So true, so true! Keep up telling the world what this place is all about!

  • I do my best!

  • Hi Geoff, good points, I live in the outer burbs of Melbounre and once in blue moon we get a kangaroo going through the backyard.

  • Id'hate to love any place where that DIDN'T or COULDN'T happen now and then if I'm completely honest.

  • Good one, Geoff!

    5 *****

  • Ta mate!

  • I used to have kangaroos getting into my garden and eating everthing when i was living in Canberra.Flies! you forgot about the flies! drive me crazy lol!

  • Well make a five things yourself and mention the blowies LOL

  • Wow we never knew lol onya bloke.

  • HAHAHAHA! Thanks

  • g'day

  • You've been practicing!

  • Cool things Geoff!

  • Ta mate!

  • Yer so HAWT!!

    I wanna b waterwise :O)

  • LOL, enjoy your summer while you have it!

  • You should have explained what you meant by "Lean to the water wise." I know, it's pretty obvious what you mean, but there are some out there that wouldn't have the slightest clue what you mean.

You know, I'd probably not want to go in the water there. I mean, where I am there isn't any poisonous anything let alone huge jellyfishes and such, though one would not be in the water here anyway as we ARE talking about the North Atlantic; it's never over a couple degrees Celsius even in the summer.

  • Water smart is about swimming, being water wise is about conserving it ;)

  • No! I don't believe I totally missed that! I assumed you meant watching out for poisonous things in the water and such, obviously. I should have thought about the drought... :S

No matter, now I know! =P

  • LOL, well a natural conclusion from where you are.

  • True enough... He he... I'm so glad there's no poisonous things here, otherwise I would have died long ago: I've tromped through the woods and bush way too much to have not gotten bitten by SOMETHING by now. :P

We've never had to worry about conserving water to tell the truth. We have our own well where I am, and I've never had to worry about there not being water in it, except for perhaps one particular summer. Rambles...

  • WEll I've been tramping through out bush all my life and, apart from when I was eight and tripped on a blackberry bush runner, I've never been bitten by a snake. I've swum in our sea all my life too and never been stung or bitten by a shark and I'm sure I'd notice hehehee.

  • :P

Well that's good to hear, although, I have to say, bad luck clings to me like stink on a warthog. It would be just my luck to get bitten by something! Of course, bad luck is never fatal to me, so I'd survive, but not before going through extreme pain. :P

He he. Still, nothing will stop me from coming to visit Australia as soon as I'm able to visit my gf. But I'm rambling.

  • LOL, if you visit my part I'll do my best not to let you get eaten by anything..... much LOL

  • Nice pointers mate.. We will be setting up camp in Country South East Qld... Thanks for spending the time... Neil...

  • ah big cities are close for you then.

    and You're welcome

  • I wanna come visit!!! Loved the story about what the kangaroo's and the wallaby's do to your yard! They're SO cute!!!

    *hugs* Angie ^i^

  • They scare the crap out of you when you go out front to se who is setting off the security lights LOL

  • all very good points geoff, but i cannot relate to the first two or three points myself.

most ppl in Aust live in the cities... and u don't get wallabies jumping thru them! only in the very outer suburbs or rural areas would that happen. we've had some bushfires in SA and in the adelaide hills but not for a while and i can't remember the smell of eucalyptus smoke from them. I would NEVER say G'day when farewelling someone, but i don't use it when i greet them either - i just say "hello". :-)

  • Well practice saying g'day, it'll come to you.

  • lol i *Can* say it, but doesn't mean im not australian if i don't! it's part of multiculturalism - not everyone was brought up to behave in the anglo-australian way :-)

  • i guess this is an example of Australian diversity! not just in the types of people here, but the different parts of australia and the different areas that people live.

  • oh bite me ya bloody seperatist snob LOL

  • lol "separatist" :-P

  • Well played mate.

  • Ta MAte!

  • Looking sharp mate...lol...

  • Yeah, keeping my chin warm for the winter! LOL

  • Learn to be water wise 5* for that one mate

  • Defo to that! and thanks! I have almost exclusively native trees and shrubs and even ground plants so I rarely have to water as they're used to the dry and wet seasons. And, even if I say so myself, I'm quite proud of my gardens(although they need a trim atm)

  • Some of those apply to SoCal too... not the G'Day one, there you just say - 'sup. XD

  • I bet you don't get the bloody wallabies and roos wreckin the garden either LOL

  • Wankers and Wallys! Very Australian. Lovely to see you Gig. Your looking good! xo

  • Nice to see you here too love, and thanks for hte compliment! (Blush)

  • My friend You paint a lovely picture of Your home land LoL! Thanks for the advise on G'day. I don't wanna get jumped for using the wrong lingo.

  • Well now ya know! It's actually a pet peeve of mine when people try and use G'day like Aloha LOL
