You don't have to "melt" steel for it to be weakened. This is a know fact that has been used by blacksmiths for hundreds of years. Heat steel to a point where it glow red is enough to make it soft enough to easily bend. So steel "melting" is really a totally irrelevant point. It didn't need to "melt" to cause a collapse. This known problem is why steel in buildings is covered with a fire resistant insulation. Check you building codes. They would do that in all buildings if it wasn't a concern.

look into what actually happened. George bush's younger brother was the head of the security company in charge of the world trade center complex. Between 1996-2000 his company spent 8.3 million "refitting" the security systems throughout the entire towers. The could have easily set the charges over those years. Multiple witnesses insist the 98th floor and 34th floor were mystery floors where banging and jackhammering could be heard prior to 911
but no one knows what was being done and no one was allowed onto those floors. You needed to have a special pass just to allow the elevators to stop at those floors. In the weekend before 911 power in the WTC's was shut off for hours at a time (meaning ALL SECURITY CAMERAS etc. were not functioning). If you look at the footage you can clearly see random explosions ejecting debris outwards from floors that hadn't even yet begun to collapse.
Steel does not have to melt to become flexible. Add to that the pressure of several dozen stories of building on top. Try it with a paper clip and a bic lighter.

I work in an Iron foundry, we melt scrap steel, add carbon and silicon and other alloys depending on the strength needed. Then pour iron and ductile iron castings from it. White hot is at least 2600 F, light yellow is 2570 - 2500 F, dark yellow is 2500 - 2300 F, orange is 2300 - 2100 F
Iron becomes relatively solid around 1800 - 2000 F. The Bible speaks of a 1 world government

When a damaged building results in any kind of collapse, most of the building will still be standing. Even the collapsed part of the building will still be largely in tact. You WON'T see explosions and squibs going off. You WON'T see the entire building collapse at free-fall speed. You WON'T see huge long pyroclastic clouds of pulverised concrete. And you WON'T find pools of molten steel in the rubble 6-weeks later. Yet we saw all of this when WTC7 collapsed...and it wasn't even hit by a plane!
Can't be arsed watching the whole series of videos but just a quick question... surely the steel doesn't have to melt for the towers to collapse, just weaken? At what temperature does steel need to reach to meet the factor of safety the towers were built to? I imagine if the steel loses half its strength that would be enough for the towers to collapse.
Blobslosak, the steel beams in those 3 buildings were extremely thick, they were made of hardened steel, they rigorously tested for extreme heat exposure, and they were covered in fire-proof material. It is not likely that the integrity of these beams would be compromised by a hydrocarbon fire burning for only 60 minutes. In any case, the jet-fuel fire is nowhere near hot enough to melt steel, let alone this kind of steel. So where did the pools of molten steel come from?
The most combustable thing in those towers was the jet fuel (kerosene), and most of that burnt away in the initial fireball. After that, we saw 60-odd minutes of thick black smoke - a sure sign that the fire is getting cooler, losing oxygen and dying out. Kerosene generally burns at around 600 degrees F, though under extreme conditions it can reach an upper maximum of 1700F. Steel melts at over 2700F, so where did the other 1000F to 2000F come from?

Heating steel to 1200 degrees does not melt it, but causes it to lose around 50% of it's tensile strength. You can try this expirement out with a simple setup: Build a regular fire and then heat the middle part of a strong steel rod in the fire for for about 15-20 minutes. You will notice that the rod is very easy to bend at the point it has been heated. Imagine now an entire heavy structure resting upon steel rods that have been heated in such a way.

look into what actually happened. George bush's younger brother was the head of the security company in charge of the world trade center complex. Between 1996-2000 his company spent 8.3 million "refitting" the security systems throughout the entire towers. The could have easily set the charges over those years. Multiple witnesses insist the 98th floor and 34th floor were mystery floors where banging and jackhammering could be heard prior to 911

but no one knows what was being done and no one was allowed onto those floors. You needed to have a special pass just to allow the elevators to stop at those floors. In the weekend before 911 power in the WTC's was shut off for hours at a time (meaning ALL SECURITY CAMERAS etc. were not functioning). If you look at the footage you can clearly see random explosions ejecting debris outwards from floors that hadn't even yet begun to collapse.

all they wanted to do was make it look like the collapse of the buildings was caused by the airplanes. the explosives were placed when the buildings were erected so that in a case like this, the owner could take down the building and cause minimal damage to surrounding buildings. if the explosives were placed in the basement, the towers would have dropped starting at the ground, NOT at the top.

I'm not disputing the fact that 911 was an inside job. But the steel temperature index is at least 300 degrees off. I work in an Iron foundry, we melt scrap steel, add carbon and silicon and other alloys depending on the strength needed. Then pour iron and ductile iron castings from it. White hot is at least 2600 F, light yellow is 2570 - 2500 F, dark yellow is 2500 - 2300 F, orange is 2300 - 2100 F
Iron becomes relatively solid around 1800 - 2000 F. The Bible speaks of a 1 world government

I was at a wood frame construction site fire a few years ago and the heat twisted the steel beams like cork screws.
One beam about 16 feet long was still attached at one end, twisted like a cork screw and lifted up at the other end by about 4 feet.

When a damaged building results in any kind of collapse, most of the building will still be standing. Even the collapsed part of the building will still be largely in tact. You WON'T see explosions and squibs going off. You WON'T see the entire building collapse at free-fall speed. You WON'T see huge long pyroclastic clouds of pulverised concrete. And you WON'T find pools of molten steel in the rubble 6-weeks later. Yet we saw all of this when WTC7 collapsed...and it wasn't even hit by a plane!

At what temperature does steel need to reach to meet the factor of safety the towers were built to? I imagine if the steel loses half its strength that would be enough for the towers to collapse.

Blobslosak, the steel beams in those 3 buildings were extremely thick, they were made of hardened steel, they rigorously tested for extreme heat exposure, and they were covered in fire-proof material. It is not likely that the integrity of these beams would be compromised by a hydrocarbon fire burning for only 60 minutes. In any case, the jet-fuel fire is nowhere near hot enough to melt steel, let alone this kind of steel. So where did the pools of molten steel come from?

The most combustable thing in those towers was the jet fuel (kerosene), and most of that burnt away in the initial fireball. After that, we saw 60-odd minutes of thick black smoke - a sure sign that the fire is getting cooler, losing oxygen and dying out. Kerosene generally burns at around 600 degrees F, though under extreme conditions it can reach an upper maximum of 1700F. Steel melts at over 2700F, so where did the other 1000F to 2000F come from?

Molten steel wasn't found. They're making that up. The chunk they show is a 3-story section of office contents and concrete, sandwiched between steel floor pans. None of it is melted. In fact, unburned paper is embedded in that chunk.

The towers were over 400 meters tall -- that's almost half a kilometer - or about 4 times the length of a football pitch. Try to picture that distance in your mind. Also consider the fact that there was no direct route for jet-fuel to travel from the top of the tower to the bottom - as each elevator shaft was only 10 floors high. So how can we explain the huge fire-less explosions that caused immense damage to the basement and lobby? Only planted military-grade explosives can explain it!

Heating steel to 1200 degrees does not melt it, but causes it to lose around 50% of it's tensile strength. You can try this expirement out with a simple setup: Build a regular fire and then heat the middle part of a strong steel rod in the fire for for about 15-20 minutes. You will notice that the rod is very easy to bend at the point it has been heated. Imagine now an entire heavy structure resting upon steel rods that have been heated in such a way.
