When he spoke to my mother on the phone he impressed her by saying what a pleasure it was to speak to her, and after almost 34 years inside, still helped disadvantaged kids in any way he could. He always asked me to never mention the campaign to release him in interviews, and his support of ordinary kids was very genuine. Just like him -a true gent. RIP Reg.
