  • they need this on itunes

  • I was 16 when I bought this tape and I bought it because I loved the Dan Hartman song, but after listening to the tape time and time again, I fell in love with this song just as much as I loved "I can dream about you"

  • amazing song but not a great film

  • @Nickmack1973december Or, as the producer said after seeing the ticket numbers after opening weekend, "Tonight is what it means to be dead" (true story).

  • まじ、感動です、すごい!

  • この曲子供のころ、聞いて、あついとおもいました、まさか、また、このあつさ、聞けるとは。かんどうです。

  • i watched this when i was a teenager and i fell in love and lust with Diane Lane/Ellen Aim

  • I Love This Song!!!!!

  • Laurie Sargent was the lead singer of Fire Inc, but she moved to backup vocals on this song as Holly Sherwood sang lead

  • Sueno superficial pero...ME ENCANTA ESE VESTIDO ROJOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! claro y la canción también.

  • Hey kiddies, I was 21 years old when this came out. Streets of Fire was directed by Walter Hill who also directed "The Warriors" (you'll note some of the actors/actresses in both films). Both films have great soundtracks- Streets of Fire was billed as a "Rock and Roll Fable" it still is one of my favorite films- Long Live Rock-

  • @13thsc oh you are lucky person :)

  • Love this song, I haven't heard it in years but still sounds good, too bad they never play it on the radio!!!

  • This is the best track on the film, which is brilliant anyway/

  • it was actually blended with 3 diffrent voices

  • @ 3:03 I close my eyes and my spirit soars so high that can dance with stars, dreams and angels... That part of the song it's epic and timeless. A great classic that will never die.

  • Pure Jim Steinam genius.

  • its not DIANE who is singing , you dumb asses, its FIRE INC .... or LAURIE SARGENT stupids

  • This was when Diane Lane was so freaking hot.

  • @asia911 She was awesome then and still awesome.

  • Epic doesn't happen everyday

  • The reverberating drums in the beginning remind me of Billy Squire's "All Night Long". Gotta love the 80's.

  • 1:00 - 1:16 ... I'm 17 years old... and this is onde of the best master piece that I have never heard... The heaven must sound like this song...

  • Diane Lane didn't sing this song. It was sung by Laurie Sargent.

  • it`s one of her best Songs.

  • This is Diane Lane and this is one of the best Songs of her..

  • i was 14 dam yes will be nice to be young again but 20years later mexicans, aids, low paying jobs, selfish people, bagels and fucking problems,

  • Searching 80's vids all day on youtube never get's old

  • Wow she was just as hot as I remember her....what was her name?

  • @itsmike762 Diane Lane is her name I believe.

  • Not the best film I have ever seen but classic Jim Steinman soundtrack and it takes me right back 30 yrs..........I played it on my i-pod when I was at the gym this morning, hell of a workout but hurting now.....lol...Loved you then Diane and still love you now

  • Is in Blu-Ray ??

  • The 80s truly ruled.

  • One of my favorite movies and songs growing up!! I love it!!!! ;D

  • Such a great song and i like it so much. :-)

  • muy buena pelicula calle de fuego y los temas son muy buenos

  • my mom loved this movie god rest her soul how I wish I could watch it with her one more time

  • Dear Lady Gaga, here's what you are looking for...no costume neccessary...

  • @rob8910 I love lada gaga but she doesn't diana lane's bone structrurre

  • One little click...that's all it was. Now I'm transported to 1984 and I'm a junior in high school again. Music moves me but GREAT MUSIC takes me back. Great movie, greater song, sublime beauty (Diane Lane) who is still luscious. Current music can only make me move my bowels.

  • Most moving scene of Tom Cody watching Ellen Aim and The Attackers along with The Sorels rocking the house down.

  • She's Freakin Hot. Now & Then!!

  • She still beautyful even after those years

  • fire.inc band

  • nice

  • Please, who's performing the song, I'm looking for the name of the band or the singer for more than 20 years, best song ever!!!! please help me out!

  • @llaneromemos Diane Lane and the band is Fire Inc.

  • love this film and this song

  • She's pretty hot but the song is too much like Bonnie Taylor's original "Bright Eyes". This movie was about rock n roll and the main character was like Bruce Springsteen. Someone should do a real bio pic on Bruce Springsteen's youth and raise to stardom.

  • @rodneywar you are joking I think.,... do you have ears? this song is full of madness and dynamite.... where is a similarity?????? I think you have no idea ;bout the music. All in theme.

  • @rodneywar Both songs were written by Jim Steinman, who is also famous for writing the vast majority of Meat Loaf's hits (including "I'd Do Anything For Love" and "Paradise by the Dashboard Light"), "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" by Celine Dion and "Making Love Out of Nothing At All" by Air Supply. So if this song and Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart" sound similiar, it's because you are recognizing Steinman's traits as a songwriter.

  • @rodneywar All of that said, I still think the songs are different enough where it's not any kind of ripoff or attempt at a rewrite. That's like saying you're not a fan of The Beatles song "Help" because it sounds too much like "I Want To Hold Your Hand". They both have the signature sound of the people who wrote them but aren't neccesarily rewrites.

  • this song is great it remains me my youth 14 yrs old back then my cousin and i went to see the movie,my mother bought me the sound track.we played this SONG over and over, right now i'm 41 married with childrem, mortgage, and couple of dogs,i'm happy but whem i listen to this song i feel like the little boy i was it bring me back to the 80's the best decade of my life.whem i was free only once we are young and i really enjoy my youth no regrets i wish i could go back in time just to party like them

  • I watched this move before half hour and I'm speechless . This is amazing :O

  • to me this movie had the greatest soundtrack ever

  • I'm 62 years old and this song makes me feel like I'm 16 again.Simply wonderful.

  • One of the BEST "end-of-movie" songs!!! :o)

  • Was this actually Diane Lane singing??? Anyone know???

  • @wordsmystrys this is holly sherwood of fire inc. lane is just lip syncing.

  • @wordsmystrys Laurie Sargent

  • Jim Steinman is awesome!

  • 2 dislikes omg

  • it makes me feel alive again

  • Makes you want to grab your gf/bf and dance! Great song...

  • was that Robert Townsend?

  • @ernestogon98 Yes it is. Also Mykelti Williamson from Forrest Gump is in that dance group also.

  • Lame how the drums you see the guy playing (acoustic) and the drums you hear (electronic) are not one in the same. In the 80's, it seemed that electronic drums were everywhere. Everyone was using them and also Key-Tars (keyboards held up like guitars). Yuk.

  • For me, this song is the best

  • Form me song is the best

  • Romantico y profundo.

  • Great movie Diane Lane was 19 when she did this........

  • I just read Daniel Ch. 8 and had to listen to this again; it features Gabriel, an angel whose touch has got the power to restore one from being stunned!!

  • OMG I FREAKIN LOVE THIS SOUNDTRACK, BEEN AWHILE

  • trozoo de movie, trozooo de song

  • You know.. Im only 15 and I love this song. Music now a days is just stupid. Its all about weed and money. My momma raised me right (:

  • @Terrance6177 amen to that

  • Todays music doesn't come close to this.

  • @MrLeafs007 i must agree with you

  • @MrLeafs007 nothing to add.....

  • yes!

  • i miss the 80s greatest music of any decade

  • 3: 48 Like a Boss

  • diana rocks

  • You know what's funny? I was 5 when this came out and I thought this was my love song for an age. How beautiful and Very creative.

  • oh god i fell in love with this chick when i was eight, lmao

  • @dbesier75 Me, too. :-)

  • @dbesier75 so did I bro

  • @dbesier75 Ever since I saw her in "A Little Romance."

  • Not many songs can give me "goosebumps," but this one does!

  • 1 person doesn't know what it means to be young!

  • @Tomkat53 yeah but 31 still know...

  • Actually the acting and dialogue were perfect for this type of movie...reminiscent of the tough guy 30's James Cagney combined with the tough guy Peter Fonda in Easy Rider...a timeless classic!

  • This is one of my favorite movies of all time, along with the bad acting and dialog. The last scenes were terrific.

  • great song

  • One of the greatest movie of the 80's. Good looking guys and gals. Guns and explosions. Fantastic music. What's not to love.

  • How can ya NOT like that ending??
