lol, I used to live in ny and the dolphin is a part of some group. They're goal is to make nykers laugh, just like the subway performers, I forgot the name of the group but they aren't there to freak you our they are there to put a smile on your face, if someone took that sign seriously then well i guess it would seem freaky...

neighborhoods change, they always do. Grand Concourse above Fordham used to be heavily Jewish. Flatbush used to be Italian. Little Italy will have to give way to Chinatown and the East Village will become yuppified. But other neighborhoods will take the place of what those places once were.
