@AnimeGuy9 Growling vocals take a while to get into, but when you can listen to them they really open up a whole new world of music. Old Katatonia is certainly less accessible to a larger audience because of the screaming, but i feel it adds so much more to music. <3 all Katatonia though

i do really like katatonia in switching from the high tome to the slow one in the same song and the way it makes you fly and swim with their lyrical adventures.
I always thought this song would be perfect if they had taken the noise and feedback from the song "Murder" and added it to the first few seconds of this song. Gotta love Katatonia.

Hmm. Just hit a block in some of these songs. I really like the music, but the voice is a little too harsh for my taste. The harmonic chords are great, though, and and the melody could be conveyed better. This is simply my opinion. I know many people prefer the growly sound of his voice. I am listening bc the music itself is great, as are the lyrics.
@jackhughes289 Well this track is from the Brave Murder Day album which is their second album so it would be in the Doom Metal genre considering that their first two albums were Doom Metal.After Brave Murder Day Katatonia stopped using harsh vocals.
Why did Jonas have a lot of reverb added to his vocals on BMD? I suppose it does add to the atmospheres massively though ^^ and BMD is one of the best metal albums out there :)
