Yeah, Saga is an awesome game but it's not really an MMO, more of a collectible RTS (you control armies instead of a character). A few buddies of mine left WoW and started playing. I forget the name of the company but you should be able to download it from playsaga.com Better than battleforge but simlar concept

battleforge is an epic game, rlly good gameplay and interesting maps. the bad thing about battleforge is that you must pay with real money for good cards, becouse you cannot earn a singel card in the game. you became 1 bfp in one day for 15 min playng, but if you wonna take a solig good card, you need like 40 50 and for the gigantic 4 spheres monster like 100-2000 bfp. so it is free to play, but very limmited if you dont pay real money for bfp

battle forge is a great game, but the fact that you have to spend money to even get a good unit, is rediculoius, so i removed the download since I couldn't win with the starting units they give you.

Saga sucks. To make a unit of 20 men, you have to have 20 of the same card. And booster packs only offer up about 20 or so random cards each costing about £5. Its just crap.

dreamlords owns...though a lot of people dislike it I say there is something that attrackts in the gameplay...played for 3 years...made 2 convergences...there are always new people showing up there believe me! I was watching the bottom of the chat there..every 5 minutes 1-2 people log in with 1/1000 of the 1st lv

Dreamlords SO beats Saga. It's just that Dreamlords has such a small playerbase. If you ask me the PvP is the best part. If only the PvE didn't feel so much like grinding. The PvP is just about the right depth.  Not spending over 20 min on each match.

Shattered Galaxy is a great. Been playing it for a long time. Never got bored of it... Its such an old 2d game, yet it has a healthy population... Its a games which emphasizes on tactics, teamwork and customization of units. Its free to play too.

If you dont have a high end comp. And you wanna have some MMORTS fun with a starcraft feel and abit of lvling in it. Try Shattered Galaxy.

Battle forge is a MMORTS in the weakest sense. Your cards are persistent, and your stats are. Nothing else is. Cards are massively unbalanced, you can pretty much spam one or two cards and win just about anything. Additionally, the "buy your cards" thing is a waste of money and a total ripoff. Really, theres nothing about battleforge that is any more like an MMORTS than any other game with stat tracking. The story they came up with for it is half assed and hamfisted as well.

Battleforge is free, but you start with some Cards wich you summon Creatures/Cast spells/Build buildings with, if you want more cards you have to buy them for RL money. Still its free download and play
