You only get invites for the AMEX Centurion. The Visa Knock off has the same qualifications(250k minimum, excellent credit record etc.) but on their site theres a link to applying for the black card, so any one can TRY to be part of that 1%
whereas for the Centurion Card they ONLY invite that top 1% of consumers
I don't know where you got $250k for the Visa. The requirements are an income of only $15,000 a year.
It is not a premium card as far as Visa is concerned - it is classified as Platinum Plus which is the type of card offered to you if you are declined for a Visa Signature.

You obviously don't have an Amex Blackcard cause that whole spending 250k a year is not true. You have to prove that you make more then 150k a year and that you spend money on a regular basis. I know someone who has one and he does not spend 250k a year with it. You do have to make sure its paid off completely every month and as for the black card visa, anyone with a decent job can get one. You don't have to be making millions with either card
Yes it is true. You have to spend 250k within twelve months on any AMEX charge card, you dont necessarily have to maintain that spending level but for one year to HAVE to spend 250k to get the card. They do make exceptions for government officials and celebrities but most of those guys are probably near the 250k limit anyway.

You only get invites for the AMEX Centurion. The Visa Knock off has the same qualifications(250k minimum, excellent credit record etc.) but on their site theres a link to applying for the black card, so any one can TRY to be part of that 1%
whereas for the Centurion Card they ONLY invite that top 1% of consumers

I don't know where you got $250k for the Visa. The requirements are an income of only $15,000 a year.
It is not a premium card as far as Visa is concerned - it is classified as Platinum Plus which is the type of card offered to you if you are declined for a Visa Signature.
Barclays simply wants the $495 annual fee from as many people as possible.

You obviously don't have an Amex Blackcard cause that whole spending 250k a year is not true. You have to prove that you make more then 150k a year and that you spend money on a regular basis. I know someone who has one and he does not spend 250k a year with it. You do have to make sure its paid off completely every month and as for the black card visa, anyone with a decent job can get one. You don't have to be making millions with either card

Yes it is true. You have to spend 250k within twelve months on any AMEX charge card, you dont necessarily have to maintain that spending level but for one year to HAVE to spend 250k to get the card. They do make exceptions for government officials and celebrities but most of those guys are probably near the 250k limit anyway.

I figured it would be easy to get also but I looked into it. While the requirements aren't as strict as AMEX you still have to back it up with personal funds and have a hell of a credit score. And Visa wants it to be exclusive so not just anyone can get it or else it would be just another card that anyone can get. This guy in the video is an asshole but he had to do something right to get that card.

I too was invited to have a 'Black Card' and I only make $400 a month. Surely, I wasn't going to pay $495 a year to have this card. Granted you have a good credit score you will most likely get the card. It obviously isn't based on your income or I wouldn't have gotten invited. And this guy is cocky. I don't like him at all.
