Right I've turned to youtube to fix my problems, I'm running an AMD bulldozer 6 cores oc'd to 4ghz sli GTX 570s and 8 gigs of ram, yet even on low graphics I get a frame rate of around 5 fps. Any ideas on a fix for this?

@EegrasStudios I know, I got suckered in by the whole omg 6 cores, and the fact it's cheap as shit. I can still run BF3 on ultra on this PC, with around 60 fps, yet saints row basically runs in slow motion. I've done some research on it, but the only way I've seen to fix it is to email gigabyte for 2 weeks in hopes of getting some beta bios that work with SR3, I was just wondering if there are any other ways of fixing it.

The a8's are designed for HTPC's, bulldozer was their flagship performance CPU. Unfortunately the architecture sucks balls. Worse than the previous Thuban generation CPU's like the Phenom x4/x6 and with that you get shit performance. Albeit more performance that you will need for even the most CPU intensive games. But yeah, go Intel or go home with CPU's. AMD CPU's Is reserved for a poor mans build.(Sub$200 CPU)

@Nile101 That sounds like a CPU problem but I wouldn't think a bulldozer chip would have any troubles with Saints row the third :/ Maybe go through the bios and make sure you have all cores enabled and haven't accidently disabled a core when you were overclocking because that's easy enough to do.

@RawrzPanther Had a look just to make sure, all cores are enabled, checked more, seems the only way to fix it flash bios. Sadly it's easy for people with ASUS boards, not so much us gigabyte users. So I guess it's just going to be bought for xbox.

Disable 1 570, update drivers, update game, reset your clocks to default, run a memtest, check PSU is sufficient, run a stress test like Prime 95 to determine stability of your system. If none of that helps and there is credible sources that say reflashing your bios will work. go for it. I I'm pretty sure it won't be a BIOS issue and flashing should be the last option, the very last. If every other game works fine then it's down to drivers. Never heard of a bios update as a low FPS.

If someone really wanted to compare gta to saints row (and you know, why not, there is no problem with just comparing) I would say, that GTA is for those, who like deep character explaination, GTA is for those who like to feel like they are in the game, and who like characters, who have feelings, and have a deep story. Saints Row is for those, who like a laugh. A constant laugh for the rest of the gameplay. They are both fantastic games, I love them.

I'm having really bad framerates while drivin/running round the city, with everything set to the lowest. Like 25-30 in some cases. On the other hand it can go up to 80 while indoors and the like. I'm on an ATI Radeon HD5870, a 2.66 GHz intel i7, and 6 GB RAM. Any tips for upgrading? Or do i just need to update something? i installed new drivers for the graph card and directX.

a little selution for blocked steam games due to retailers as you mentioned at the end of the video, you can always use VPN from america or some other country to bypass it, for example raptorvpn (free) although meny of the VPN programs have limited try out time befor you have to pay for using it, but just trowing out option for people games are blocked for stupid resons.
