contin: Even the most right wing of Americans are supposed to consider Property Rights sacrosanct, but Israel does not even care about Legal Property Ownership, let alone the moral Injustice of enforced homelessness and famine.

It's like herding the Jews into ghettos. Ironically, Israel has been creating the scary conditions for global Jew-hatred like a self-fulfilling prophesy .. and I have reason to fear this, since I'm Jewish.

Both Israelis and Palestinians point out that typically no compensation is offered and often no notice.  Homes are knocked down, Land is just seized by force, from people with "no weapons" to defend themselves against being shot, and regardless if they have Legal Deeds to their property.

Was compensation offered to the landowner(s)? If so, how much? Was the laying of the sewerage system challenged in the courts? If yes, what was the outcome? If not, why not?

It's easy to post emotive scenes on the internet to garner sympathy for Arabs and foster hatred for Jews. What's needed is calm, sober examination in the hope of understanding and improving the situation.
