I don't like the head lights on this motorcycle because they look like fucking cat eyes pulled back. A clear bad example of design just like the lights on the Yamaha they look like fucking insect eyes. A good set of lights can be found on the cbr 600s, 1000s the ducatis 1098s, 848s and the suzukis supersport models

@besman007 quality? You can't beat Honda. Honda makes some of the best small engines and transmissions in the world. Get the CBR and you will not regret it. I agree that the ZX-6R is a little more aggressive, but much less comfortble on the street.
Why in the world would you get the CBR. It has less power. less responsive brakes, worse suspension... Oh, and the zx6r is VERY comfortable for a sportbike. I am 6'3" and can ride all day (7+ hours) and not feel sore at the end of it. Every shootout review you could possibly find will put the zx6r on a different level than the Honda... keep being a nuthugging fanboy though.

I've ridden both bikes, and they are very close. Do you want me to say the ZX is the better sportbike? Fine, the ZX is better. Any day you want to buy me one, I'll ride it. For the deals Honda is giving out, it's a great bike, and it was the '08 bike of the year so it's not like it sucks. Grow up. Nuthugger? Really?
@cl0wner additionally, the CBR is more comfortable than the ZX (i ride mine all day too) and most certainly has a better gearbox. Read the shootouts that you are referencing again, and almost all of them comment on how much better the Honda transmission is than the other bikes. I agree that the power advantage lies with the Kawi, but (like the Yamaha) most of that is due to overly restrictive stock exhaust and fuel mapping (damn EPA). Those are easily fixed. Akrapovic FTW.
@cl0wner and lastly, the ZX is such a better bike that their racing program got completely annihilated by the CBR. In the 2010 season, the Honda won all but 1 race in SBK and dominated the manufacturer's championship for the 600 class. So... great street bike and proven better race bike? Good enough for me.
i wouldnt recommend kawasaki to any1...... i brought new kawasaki ninja and they really dont give shit about you. you will notice if something goes wrong.
Even worse is i got my major service at 15,000 kms and the kawasaki service center forgot tighten my brakes and the brakes fell off. now in legal battle -_-

Blacked out lights are only for the race track. When racing bike they black-out the headlights and unplug the fuses and take off the rear turn signals

no. that is an aftermarket add-on. the lights are normally like the red zx6r. both bikes look good though!!

Blacked out lights are only for the race track. When racing bike they black-out the headlights and unplug the fuses and take off the rear turn signals

yeah this bike is nice even without the blacked out lights. If your buying one trust me your going to be happy. Im buying one in Feb or March of 2010

the new plastics are nice, the only thing i've disliked about the zx6r is the headlights - scary looking. they should go back to the 636 headlights
