that was not as fast as it can go for a lot of reasons. The BIG reason is because of the aerodynamics. The helmet would have made a huge difference!!

i have a top cart and it has the kt100j engine in it and it also revs up 2 16000 remember its a 2 stroke no valves and other stuff to slow it down but haveing said that f1 cars can rev to like 19000 or something so ya........

yea my rotax does 14000, a formula 100cc does 21000 rpm but not for long lol

the higher cc engines have bigger cylinder heads so more mass to move...

yea but generally they have more power, my rotax can do a good 160kph, the formula e superkarts do 260kph.

not true!! did you forget more stroke also contribrutes to cc's and any way in this case the 100cc kart engines dont have tourqe its doen to gearing and the fact they pull over a wide rev range making them a awsome enigne tho max speed on any gearing is 73-5 mph as gear to low and the engine wont have the tourqe to pull you and the kart. to high and you wont even reack 70, id say hes on at least a 75-9 tooth rear sproket

you are a bollix. Top speed also depends on the state of tune the engine is in and what weight the kart and driver are.

Also a high gear give more top end.

You are estimating his gearing, based on what ? IF he was on a 75 and he went to a 63 he could get around another 10-20 mph again depending on the engine.
