  • The combolins were not custom made for the Corries, Roy made them for the Corries.

  • They keep pretty still when they perform.

  • what are those instruments they are playing?

  • I'm also happy to hear a man (with more of a proper accent for the song) singing it; makes it more real!

  • This makes my heart ache.

  • missed this one , did i fall asleep. LOL love this one Linda, thanks , Ray

The large guitar like instruments are combolins. They were custom made for the Corries.

  • Grand job! I've always loved this song, ever since I heard it as a teenager. I heard it first as done by Judy Collins, but it's a man's song and I'm thrilled to find the Corries had done it.
