Have unions outlived there usefulness? They certainly worked well to get rights and benefits for employees back in the day. Seems to me, a few years back, when I worked in a union steel mill, the unions kept getting the employees more money for doing less work and less days to work on! Then everybody's screaming about cheap Japanese steel imports killing the steel industry (not to mention the EPA mandates). Looks like unions priced American labor out of the world market.
