I love the DC8 and I am delighted to know that some are still in service with major carriers like DHL. I think the fact that these were re-engined with CFM56s is proof as to what a great workhorse this plane is - you don't see that many 707s any more!

Great video, really funny. I love the long final approach shots of this. If you notice, the nose faces down. It looks so cool. I'm going to look through my hard drive to see if I have any shots of this bird! Great job.
@AssashadowX Yes! It comes into Boston once a day right now first thing in the morning. I have never seen one depart - I think that it must leave late at night.

I am trying to write an essay for school about a depressed character, and in the essay you connect the character to a song. So, I decided to slack off for a bit and watch some youtube videos. When I saw your wonderful video on the suscribers list, I clicked on it to watch it, and the song here matches my character in the essay perfectly! So, in not doing my homework, you in turn did my homework! LOL! Amazing vid as always btw.

I love the DC-8! I can't thank you enough for posting this fantastic video! I have a few photos of the ATI DC-8. In my mind this is simply the best plane ever! I don't know what it is. Maybe it's the fact that it was the first commercial jet to go super sonic. I honestly don't know. Haha Thanks for sharing this great video!
