Peace be with you and God bless you and GOD gave us freewill and ultimatly it is up to the individuals choice weather or not to watch videos so if someone is offended by the video that they choose to watch then it is that persons fault because they made that choice to watch the video Amen. I agree with what you are saying.
@Notled2 LOL how am *I* dragging this out any more than YOU are?! I'm merely responding to what you write! Shut up and I'll shut up! I never said you said I needed to be a Christian. YOU'RE the one that started off accusing me of not being able to understand spiritual concepts. And you're wrong, EVERY Christian should care very much what the rest of the world thinks. Where do you find scripture that Jesus didn't care what others thought about his father?
@Notled2 It's not selective, I actually read every word. It's just not important enough for me to store in my long-term memory. So my apologies if I've forgotten things about you. The old Testament to MOST Christians is there for more than just appreciation! MOST Christians hold what it says as truths. For instance, all of the scripture against homosexuality is in the old testament. Jesus never talked about it or had any problems with it. But look at the Christian uproar against gay people!
The scripture you quoted is hearsay and would be inadmissible in a court of law. MAN wrote that.
On the contrary YOU are the brick wall. You are the one who chooses to only accept one point of view without any evidence to make it right. You refuse to see past the end of your nose stuck in a bible that was translated over and over by MAN. If the old T. is irrelevant, why is it still there?
@Notled2 I don't believe in condemnation, so how am I doing that?! Where did I manipulate the scripture, I listed it verbatim from the bible! I just said I don't need to be forgiven, because the God I believe in doesn't judge and hate like the god of man's bible. He doesn't go around killing people, letting people die like those in 9/11 or the 6 million Jews in the holocaust. That's YOUR god who does that.
@Notled2 THAT's a convenient definition of being a Christian. That's one of the biggest flaws with Christianity, the ability to pick and choose what you want it to be. Christians do that with the bible as well. It's all true until they get to a scripture that makes no sense then they call it a "metaphor!" Or they say, "God's ways are higher than ours, we can't expect to understand everything." Baloney. How could God hold you to something you don't understand?! I don't need to be forgiven.
@Notled2 Isaiah 40:22 He sits enthroned above the CIRCLE OF THE EARTH, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in.
Circle: A round PLANE figure whose boundary (the circumference) consists of points equidistant from a fixed center.
Plane: A FLAT surface on which a straight line joining any two points on it would wholly lie.
@Notled2 And in ancient times, people were born to believe that the earth was flat. Oh, in fact, the bible says the world is flat. Your belief is more in the men that wrote the bible than in God himself.
1 Stubborn: Someone who refuses to do something for little to no reason.
2. Gullible: Easily persuaded to believe something
3. Naive: having or showing a lack of experience, judgment, or information; credulous
"Little man" is a well-known condescension. I'm not "teaching" anything. I'm merely asking you to prove where God sanctioned the bible! And you can't! All you an do is point to man's words about it. On the contrary, I can show you evidence that many, many of the bible stories appeared in other cultures in times long before the bible was ever written. How can they both be true? I've never said God doesn't exist, only that he didn't write the bible.
@Notled2 OOooooooh....well that explains everything then. And you think God would approve of you calling me a "little man" and not caring what I believe? YOUR bible instructs you, in fact orders you, to go out into the world and spread the gospel. How many countries have you covered so far? But you don't care what anyone thinks about what you believe, so you can NEVER fulfill that order.
@Notled2 I know lots of hicks that don't try to act black.....I don't get what you mean. My roommate is from Texas, he doesn't act that way.
That's right, I won't read it as the word of God, because it's not. It's the word of man. No perfect God would make so many mistakes as those included in the bible, nor would he allow man to write them that way. Man made them all up. You do realize that most of the bible stories existed long before the bible was written? They just copied them?
@Notled2 Homie? It's so silly when white people pretend to be black! ;-)
I've read the bible several times, cover to cover....I'm VERY familiar with it. Every word was written by man and man alone. NOWHERE is there any evidence that God commissioned the bible, or approved of it once it was written. Everything you believe about that, a man made up and wrote in the bible.
Why would a perfect God rely on fallible man to convey what he wants?
I like this one and agree. Too many people try to force their beliefs on everyone else. Noone is happy or they'd be content with themselves. Those at peace with who they are are the happiest. Those at peace with God will be happy forever.
But God never asked for the bible to be written, nor did he ever approve it after it was written. It is a concoction by man. It is chock-full of mistakes and contradictions. I don't understand why so many want to believe it's really God's word. If God wanted us to have his word, he would have just sent it down to us, not relied on fallible man to write it and translate it over and over and over.
nothing is going to stop me from saying anything, when ever the internet dies i will still be saying what i please. you may stop a few of those that speak in free will but you cant stop millions+millions

You've started 3 of your posts with "lol dude."
I don't know what "running a rabbit trail" means.

@Notled2 That made absolutely no sense. Now you're judging me, another thing YOUR bible says not to do. Some Christian you are.
