  • Hey postproduction101 go get a real job, your military is great why not enlist?

  • 12 isn't so bad in a 10 or less lane but at the supermarket I go to, there's a 12 or less lane and when ppl pull up with like 20 items, ppl stare and they get all uncomfortable and fidgety heh I hate those ppl..

  • In the Australian supermarket I work at, we have a "15 items or less" rule.

When a customer rocks up with an entire trolley full...I tell them to go away.

That rule is there for a reason - don't make everyone wait because of your ignorance.

  • @postproduction101 woo AUSTRALIA!

  • I used to work at a grocery store and I hated being the cashier on those registers. You couldn't say anything to the customer with more than the number of items because they would be a jerk about it. And then if you didn't say anything to them the next customer would complain to me as soon as the first one walked away. Dont ever be a cashier, You wont ever do anything right.

  • Huge lol @ the fags below arguing about the grammatically correct usage of the term ten items or less.

    #internetpeoplesuck

  • @Imghey123lol Trololol I know it's like, this is YOUTUBE. Why do you fucking care about grammar? Worry about it in a fucking English Lit exam, not YouTube of all places.

  • Amercia is werid, all the cool places have 12 items or less

  • i love the look on the big guy's face lol..

  • I accidentally took my cart to a 10 items or less lane once because my friend was working there. We had 150 items and he engaged boss mode and flew through all of them in about 5 minutes. Felt like a dick for doing it, though.

  • @jonst26 You are clearly stupid.

  • @Frediscoolerthanjosh Are you joking?

  • Jay Buhner's still got it..

  • I was a cashier for 5 years and honestly, I have only had one person complain about someone putting 3 more items on the belt. I can understand if they have more than 15 when the limit is 10, but come on. It takes us 2 seconds to ring through each item. I told the person who complained that they should have left their house earlier if they couldn't even spare 6 seconds of their life. If anything, by complaining they made it take even longer.

  • Sorry to be a grammar Nazi, but it's "10 items or fewer".

  • @jonst26

Not sure if Troll or just very stupid.

  • @419797 How am I stupid?

  • @jonst26

Wow, because you are wrong. Go back to schoollll.

Oh and by looking at the comments, Im not the only one who thinks so!

  • @419797 The correct way to say it is actually "10 items or fewer". @jonst26 is right. You probably only think that "10 items or less" is correct because that phrase is most commonly used.

  • @KaberianRoyalty

I have never seen a sign that said "10 items or fewer"

But whatever, stupid argument is stupid.

  • @419797 I am not wrong. In fact, it is you who should return to "schoollll".

Just because many idiots agree on something, it does not mean that it is correct. Also, if you had taken your time to look at all the comments you would see I am not alone in correcting this mistake.

  • @jonst26

The idea that less can’t be used with count nouns isn’t well supported; it’s a rule that hasn’t ever been strictly followed, especially for count nouns that can be perceived as masses. Groceries lend themselves to perception as a mass, so it’s no surprise that “10 items or less” is favored now, just as it has been historically. Please stop complaining about this. Damn.

  • @jonst26 Is this searously an argumen? Just say it however you say it.

  • @jonst26 It even says in the video at 0:20 on the sign itself that it is 10 items or less. Perhaps it might be different in the place you shop, but in most cases it's 10 items or less. I know people have already said this to you but... they were kinda rude about it.

  • That's really unnecessary... srsly. How long could it take to scan 2 more items? 2 seconds maybe... how long could it take for the cashier to cancel the purchase? 2-15 minutes, depending on the organization and moment of day.... how long would an argument go for... quite a while...

I say you suffer the darn 2 seconds and get over it...

  • @Capkauna That's why it's funny.

  • @frankentaylor I'm sorry... I guess my sense of humor still won't include pitiful stupidity... I'll just move away now...

  • This happened to me yesterday. I was in the 1-8 items line and the guy ahead of me had 9 items. I had 2 items. I wanted to tell him to let me ahead of him in line because I was within the limit.

  • Great video!!!!! Props to @PuertoRicanPow btw. These people seem to lack the common sense factor that it's just a funny video!!!!!

  • haha this made me laugh so hard.. and for the people calling tyler a douche its just a video to be funny dont take it so seriously

  • Yes, it's douche-ish to complain about 2 items but it's at least equal if not more douche-ish to not be able to count past 10. Really, people

  • Rules are rules.

  • Is he really bitching about 2 items? More like everyday douchness

  • baaahahaha so true!

  • i dont know if thats courageous or just being a dick...

  • @MasterCharlz Allow me: it's neither

  • @MasterCharlz No. NO! 12 items guy is the dick.

  • @MasterCharlz courage

  • @MasterCharlz little bit of both

  • It should be 10 items or fewer.

  • pick your battles

  • these are awesome! keep them coming!

  • not really worth it, it#s only 2 items more. maybe when they start pushing it at 15+ sure

  • @hirostroud Thats the idea
