A federal appeals court on Friday threw out a decision that had barred Congress from withholding funds from ACORN, the activist group driven to ruin by scandal and financial woes.

The ruling by the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan reversed a decision by a district court judge in Brooklyn that found Congress had violated the group’s rights by punishing it without a trial.

Secondly SS and Medicare are bankrupt and will end one way or another. I tend to believe that it is better to make some changes now while we can still give the younger generations the opportunity to prepare. Waiting until the checks bounce hurts more people, far worse than making radical changes to keep it somewhat solvent for those that are currently dependent on it.

I just saw the RM show and she had an interview of Mrs Angels on the show. She actually did pretty good for her "first real interview" as RM called it. (Even though that was untrue) At the end, RM was all laughs and said that Mrs Angels political career was buried after being interviewed by a reporter with "real questions". Rachel lets her emotion get the best of her and escapes logic and reasoning, this was one example of that.

LOL......I'm moving from Calif. to Nevada next week. PLUS I've been unemployed since losing my job of 24 years....... back in April of '09. Used to work 50-60 hrs per week graveyard shift. Then my company decided to close down it's Calif. plant and 150 of us lost our jobs. Now we're losing our unemployment insurance. At least I get to become a resident of Nevada and vote against this republic%#nt whack-job in November...Jeez.....I hope they don't use the rigged machines there.
