shell is bs gas that costs 10 cents more per gallon at the pump, do u rly believe this people, enginegunk my ass, gas is gas if lower quality was that bad then people wouldn't buy and they woudln't be selling it in the first place.

i noticed a big difference right away filling up with 87 octanne with the new gas; my car ran smoother and had more of kick when i accelerated, i thought i put my volvo on steroids; for real i will only go back to chevron to check my tire pressure or buy something in the store,i don't think i will ever fill up at chevron again.

I noticed a decrease in my mpg's when I started using shell gasoline too. I get the best mpg's with Chevron fuel.

Chevron Techron (Techroline) is considered one of the top cleaning gasolines in the industry. It remains to see if this is any better.

NOTICE YOU HAVE TO GET PREMIUM GRADE TO GET HIGHER AMOUNTS OF NITROGEN.  Chevron has the same level of cleaner in ALL grades.

@jeffhanson1 If chevron techron has the same level of cleaner in all the grades why buy the premium which cost 20-40 cents more & which has the same level of cleaner as the regular??

@predatorinstincts Some cars require premium which makes the other grade options irrelevant in that case.

Making someone with a low octane engine spend unnecessary high octane money to get the nitrogen cleaner is what I'm talking about. That's called greedy marketing by Shell still hoping consumers aren't smart enough to realize they don't need high octane.

Most major brands have "3-Tier" detergents in all grades anyway in addition to Techron/nitrogen except for Exxon, Arco,& a few others.
