  • It was resolved and the fix is available from CA Technologies Support for clients with an active maintenance contract. The Name field is in ASCII order and not true alphabetical order. That means the order is 1-9, A-Z, and then a-z.

  • @micdov03 Can you tell me what the Fix/Patch # is for this? I don't see it as available on the CA Support Connect website yet and I know that when I call CA support to ask for the patch it would be a big help to know the Fix/Patch #.

  • Hi, I work for CA, and tried it and found the same problem. I'll open an issue on it. Did you approach CA Support on this? If not why?

  • @micdov03 Hello. I hope your efforts to get this fixed are successful. Yes I have reported this issue to CA tech support, and to my CA Account Rep, and to my CA reseller. I reported it a couple years ago when we upgraded to r12, and when I saw that it was still an issue in r15 I reported it again by emailing a link to this video to my contacts at CA. I haven't heard anything back from CA yet, other than your comments.

  • @mmeister55 ,

In response to the issue I opened yesterday a test fix was sent this morning. From my testing it works correctly now except for the Name field which is still is showing multiple groups of files in alphabetical order. Once it is all done I'll post the test fix #.

  • @micdov03 That sounds great. Thank you.
