do you ever notice that De Niro, Day Lewis and Brando are the actors that people always ask what it was like to work with them, not so much Jack, Hoffman, Pacino or the other greats.
What is she talking about when she is saying "script wasn't perfect to begin with".
Well.. to be fare Natasha was the weakest link in that movie and lucky to play with top class actors from all over the world. As I remember even the director didn't like her irish accent that she was playing.
Ronin was one of the best 10 movies of all times. Script was perfect and if you follow the events closely after the cold war, you will understand it.
"The script wasn't perfect to begin with" = it started off not perfect and, as the film was shot, evolved and became better. This is a process that happens in the making of virtually every film. She's not suggesting that the *final* script isn't very good.
As for your suggestion that Ronin is one of the 10 best movies ever, well, you're entitled to your opinion but I think it's a pretty absurd claim in light of how many great movies there have been in the entire history of the art form.
Well, her mum's Irish so you'd expect her to be decent at it, even though she grew up in London! Not that there's any such thing as "the Irish accent", mind you. There are all kinds of different ones all over the country. She does a Belfast accent in the movie.
Natasha McElhone is an absolutely beautiful woman. Gotta say I liked her slightly better with the Irish accent in Ronin and The Devil's Own. Man, I love Irish lassies...guess it's my heritage...anyway, beautiful woman, very talented actress.
Ohhh! She has a heavenly smile.

She reminds me of Joan Crawford circa Grand Hotel (1932). Beautiful.

@paddy9i99 I have met her and she is a very bright, down to earth person who is not impressed with the Hollywood BS (her words).

She sounds thick, unfortunately her shallowness is difficult for her to hide.
A pretty face is not a big enough distraction

@paddy9i99 What? You can call her many things but shallow is not one of them.

I actually thought she was Irish in Ronin and The Devil's Own. Probably one of the few Non-Irish actors who can actually get the Irish accent right.
