@SwitchBlade8820 dont put a powerstroke in it unless you can get a great deal on one. dont get me wrong im not tryin to say theyre bad but seriously if you can get a 4bt cummins or a duramax go for it instead. dont get a full on 12v or 24v cummins though because an 81 bronco would have the frame cracked and axles snapped in no time at all. trust me ive got an 82 f150 with an inline 6 and an 81 bronco with a 351 and i can tell you straight up that the bronco couldnt take that kind of power

Even when pulling a truck to the shop we are made to put the Dodges in 4 high tow haul so its easier on the trans. With the ford we just give her the beans and go.

77 ford f150 4x4, np 435 4 speed behind a 390 with a 4bbl holley, engine is stock and has no problems breaking all 4 35in tires loose. also have a 75 4x4 i'm droppin a 429 in just for a fun truck as it will be too much power to be worth a damn off road :)

actually in the latest edition of offroad magazine ford powerstroke was voted best all around motor which suprised me with all the press the duramax gets. and im a chevy guy but it was astouinding how much the powerstrokeb blew away the competition in almost every category except 0-60 no haul speed but with a load the ford won

The four speed manuals are awesome but if you got a 5 speed manual chevy 6.5 you got yourself some good shit till you hit the d-max then you hit the real shit. but they gotta have a 6speed in those and you got yourself a truck.
