I am not a religious person, i consider myself an atheist in transition, I am on the way to pure atheism. On the other hand I am a cultural Hindu. Although not a member of the RSS I strongly believe that it is in Indian interests that radical organizations like them exists in our society. My reason is simple, there has to be a counter balance to the aggressive proselytism practiced by American funded missionaries in India. These organizations convert poor tribals and dalits to Christanity.

.Keshav dev krishna temple in mathura, destroyed 3 times starting with Mahmud of Ghazni and then Sikander Lodi and finally by Aurangazeb in 1669 and had the current katra mosque built on it from the same materials of the temple.The Katra masjid has been a site of extensive excavations and numerous Buddhist and Hindu statues have been excavated. The debris of the temples and Buddhist monasteries were dumped at the site as a foundation over which Katra Mosque was built.

I got to know about India by second hand and as little more than a tourist. Compared to other areas and seen how crowded disorganized (and still poor) it is, it's a surprisingly peaceful and tolerant place and culture! Think about how theft is so"out" despite poverty. In 1984, 37 Sikhtemples were attacked on one of the holiest days of Sikhism, i.e. when they were packed full of worshippers. So many died then. India is a democratic nation and democracy provides legal room for the existence of RSS, as is for the various madrasas. My dear, it seems Hindus don't go about door to door converting through dialogue. What does happen though when Hindu fanatics decide to convert people is that they are told they better convert unless they want their kids burnt. I am not a religious person, i consider myself an atheist in transition, I am on the way to pure atheism. On the other hand I am a cultural Hindu. Although not a member of the RSS I strongly believe that it is in Indian interests that radical organizations like them exists in our society. My reason is simple, there has to be a counter balance to the aggressive proselytism practiced by American funded missionaries in India. These organizations convert poor tribals and dalits to Christanity.

.Keshav dev krishna temple in mathura, destroyed 3 times starting with Mahmud of Ghazni and then Sikander Lodi and finally by Aurangazeb in 1669 and had the current katra mosque built on it from the same materials of the temple.The Katra masjid has been a site of extensive excavations and numerous Buddhist and Hindu statues have been excavated. I got to know about India by second hand and as little more than a tourist. Compared to other areas and seen how crowded disorganized (and still poor) it is, it's a surprisingly peaceful and tolerant place and culture! Think about how theft is so"out" despite poverty. In 1984, 37 Sikhtemples were attacked on one of the holiest days of Sikhism, i.e. when they were packed full of worshippers. So many died then. Then there was operation after operation to clean village after village of baptized Sikhs, thanks to that Nazi woman Indira Gandhi. Then there were the organized killings of Sikhs in Delhi and many other cities.

It was not officially founded in 1925. The mid-1920s was a time when M.S. Golwalkar got together with like-minded individuals to somewhat begin a loosely linked campaign against what they saw as anti-Hindu elements & 'foreigner' inclusion into the fabric of Indian society. It is a pity to see every beautiful religion being hijacked by the ugliest of souls. Hinduism is no longer what is once was. It is now Brahminism, a cruel system that discriminates against the Dalits. I dont know much about Islam but from what I heard, it was once a peaceful religion and now the evil mullahs have took over. Christianity is now so organized and its contradicting the teaching of Jesus. I think India should get rid of religion altogether.

i don't have a problem with muslims, obviously, true islam is one of the most peaceful religions in the world. also, it has been one of the most victimized by others. i do have an issue with people who do not acknowledge that the responsibility belongs to both sides in india and pakistan. hindus and muslims are equally guilty - each example of one group's horrible actions can be met with a comparable action from the other side. however, you do not help by posting conspiracy theories like this.

I appreciate your comments; both sides have some soul searching to do but its a known fact, not a conspiracy theory that M.S. Golwalkar idolized Hitler's book 'Mein Kampf' and he wrote his book 'We or Our Nationhood Defined...' along similar lines. Today these two books form an important part of the curriculum in many shakas across India.
This video was originally a response video to an Indian kid's video to show him the other side of the argument but he didnt have the integrity to accept it

Enjoy reading some works by a Hindu Indian historian called 'Romila Thapar' & re-educate urself since Hinduism actually flourished under Muslim rule. BTW the British prevented the Mughal Empire from Islamizing India one they took over, there were also great Hindu kings like Shivaji Maharaj, Rana Pratap, and even the Sikh kings who fought against the Islamic Invasion or else Hindus would end up Like those Irani Zorastrians.
