Okay, perhaps I did state my last opinion as a bit of a dick, and for this I apologize. It is just so unnerving to have to be stuck behind a group of adults on bikes going 10mph on a 55mph road. Im the type of person that times his daily commute to the minute and does not intend to have it disrupted. I guess I just don't understand the hype behind the whole bicycle thing. Sorry.
@JETHO321 Well, I'm the type of person who likes to get out on the road with a group of my buddies and ride. Your one minute disruption could easily be compensated for by leaving a few minutes early. You probably don't like pedestrians or ending up behind a slow tractor trailer that you cannot pass either, but they are all parts of the privilege that is driving - plan ahead! And regarding the "hype behind the whole bicycle thing"- its called fitness, nature, competition, and camaraderie.
@corbittbourne That you are correct. I do not like slow drivers, semi trucks, old people, pedestrians or school buses. I am an inconsiderate prick, but at least I admit it to it. Its hard to change learned behavior from childhood. Sometimes I cant help the feelings of rage I get when Im on the road. As for driving being a privelage..... thats a bunch of crapp. In todays society, you cant work if you cant drive, and if you cant work, your family dont eat. This isn't New York, here, no subways.
Another great tip: if you bicycle, please stay the fuck out of the road. Regardless of what you think, your not as fast as a car (which roads were intended for.) And you make people have to go around you damn near in the other lane which is dangerous.
@JETHO321 for your information, bicycles ARE ALLOWED ON THE ROAD. regardless of what you may think, it is perfectly legal for a cyclist to be on the road or even take over a full lane of road, so please get your facts strait before trying to tell other people how to do things. thank you.
@JETHO321 Cyclists are tax payers too, we deserve just a much of the road as drivers. If there are enough cyclists, especially if it's a race, we can certainly take up a whole lane. It may be an inconvenience and it may cost you an extra minute to get by us, but I'd rather have it that way that get run over and disrespected by inconsiderate drivers.
uhh 4 days recovery for a 3 hour ride is stupid ? even if it was the hardest ride in your life it should only take a day. u should ride everyday if you wanna get really fit
He's not saying that you can't ride, but if you do get out there and "give it your all" on a three hour ride your chances of being fully recovered two days later to give it your all again and much slimmer.
I can only have a max about 62-66kph on sprint.. Can u give me some tips? Im a girl

I like to ride my bicycle naked. It minimizes wind resistance. It's not a good idea for winter training though.

@JETHO321 I doubt anyone watching this video goes 10mph on a 55 mph road. Maybe as low as 17 mph, probably more like 20-22.
