  • this is truly an AMAZING song!! Very inspirational and much needed in these times!!

  • The Japan's devastation is 10 times greater than Katrina, but you cannot even compare the behavior of the citizens LA and the shores of Japan. People in LA were walking in their own piss in the stadium and you see none of that in Japan. The citizens are taken care of themselves until the government help arrives. And also did you notice when some LA citizens opened their mouth, you couldn't even tell if they were speaking English, but some fisher men in Japanese shore line spoke English? Wow!

  • The Earth's poles are shifting... ...there is more to come.

  • Katrina = Looters Japan = No looters

Katrina = Niggers Japan = No Niggers

    1 + 1

  • @botchalism You're a Racist Bitch-ass Fagot... Japan = all the same USA = racism....When the draft riots (murdering, looting, raping of innocent African slaves) occurred the poor irish & waspies were killing Blacks in the streets of NYC. Many many more examples of "whites" commiting heinous crimes against Africans, Asians, Muslims from all over, come on from India 2 Madagascar, Vietnam 2 Sierra Leone. Your racist eyes are blind 2 the crimes that your people commit. Every nation has bad Fucker!!!

  • @ElectRIkCiti Don't lose your head over this guy. If you do you'll only serve to escalate the situation. I agree with pointing out how he is incorrect but you got a little offensive there as well (not as badly as he did of course). In all honesty he's actually being offensive to everyone. By claiming that Katrina was okay because it affected African Americans, he is also belittling what the Caucasian, Hispanic, and Asian populations of New Orleans experianced. He is wrong on all counts.

  • @botchalism You're mistaken. Looting was not a significant problem in New Orleans, misinformation was. Analysis and research into the days after Katrina show that the reports of looting were heavily exaggerated.

In fact, it would be more appropriate to say that "Japan = No Dumb ass white trash cops who shot innocent people."

So 1+1 might equal 3 for you, but for those who are burdened by such things as "logic," your statement comes off as inane and detrimental to the public discourse.

  • @Korared LMAO, they video taped it, kinda hard to deny VIDEO EVIDENCE! Even black cops are stealing, FUCKING PATHETIC!

    watch?v=hYCrMNEdweY&playnext=1&list=PL0FA1EB6327500F6E

  • @botchalism I didn't deny that there was looting. That is inevitable. I'm positive that there is looting in Japan as well, but it isn't a significant issue and is probably quite limited. The looting in New Orleans was quite limited. And what is you obsession with individuals who are black? Are you condemning an entire race due to what a handful of people did in the aftermath? Using that logic all Caucasians should die for what was done by white NOPD officers in the aftermath.

  • @Korared Handful? LOL, guess you didn't see the videos, there were MOBS of people jacking shit. There's tons of footage, and even more pictures of black people carting around tvs and sound systems. I'd also like to mention as a former Texas resident that after Katrina Houston Texas experienced a 22% increase in homicides linked to Katrina victims. Let me guess what your reply to that will be "Yo da white men came and made us kill doze peoples", that's always a black persons defense.

  • @botchalism Considering the number of high minded African-American friends that I have, I'm not sure that's true. I'm also not sure that would make any sense coming from a Caucasian/Spanish Jew.

  • @Korared You're not sure what is true? "I'm also not sure that would make any sense coming from a Caucasian/Spanish Jew."

What is that supposed to mean?

  • @botchalism I'm not sure that they say "Yo da white men came and made us kill doze peoples" or that it would make any sense for me to say it.

  • @botchalism I didn't have the time to mention the statistics. Are you actually surprised at a spike in crime after the entire lower-class population of a city is relocated with little to no support structure in place? In fact, the mayor defended evacuees with that same logic, and he went on to point out that crime had been on the rise prior to Katrina.

And YES it is a handful. Most of the clips are from that same instances. Was it stupid? Yes. Was it a chronic and large scale issue? Hell no.

  • @Korared The most infamous video taken of the black cops stealing at walmart (along with dozens of others) happened the 1st day after the storm, those people weren't "relocated" at all yet. Of course crime was on the rise, any city with a large concentration of black people has crime that is "on the rise" just look at Washington DC, Atlanta, and Detroit.

  • @botchalism Could you try harder to misinterpret what I am saying?

Attributing crime to African Americans is a "false cause." The real issue is that crime is pervasive in areas with a concentrated impoverished population. The race really doesn't matter. In the US, the majority of impoverished individuals are minorities. Crime is still an issue in countries without a significant Black population as long as there is poverty.

  • @Korared So I'm guessing Japan doesn't have poverty then? LOL. The lack of theft has been attributed to the fact that "Japanese culture abhors theft, has a deep respect for private property and admires stoicism." Thomas Lifsen Harvard Asian studies professor. Black moral values read something along the line of "Get rich or die trying" or "steal from whitey cuz every thing is his fault". I remember when the word "pimp" was an insult, now due to black culture its become an honorary title!

  • @botchalism Now as for the cops, (I keep running out of room.) they were given permission to go and collect clothing and shoes from the store. This was due to the fact that many of the officers on duty in NO had soaked clothes and no means to wash them. If you look at the cart it is clearly filled with clothes, shoes, and delicates which were gathered for fellow officers. I'm REALLY not one to defend the NOPD, but that is really not much of an offence.

  • Respond to this video...

  • @Korared Wow....you are actually justifying for them stealing, LOL. They look pretty dry to me! You're trying to tell me that the police department ordered them to steal goods a mere DAY after a natural disaster? Much of the flooding happened days after the flood when the levees failed making your argument all the more absurd.

  • @botchalism Actually it was MSNBC that justified it. You may know of them as the news organization that broke the story.

And for the record, the Police Department later alerted Walmart that they had take supplies.

  • @botchalism I don't know about you, but crime has a high relevance with poverty (especially in a society that doesn't have honor, respect, and civility). Sadly, minorities are along that status of supporting the crime lifestyle for monetary endeavors; I know, because I grew up in the ghettos in the US, and lived in Japan (father was stationed there). I have to admit, I strongly admire the Japanese culture (the US...even the highly noble citizens are the exact opposite honor and civility).

  • @GoW3Suks4 We have much more welfare and entitlement programs then Japan does. Japan has a distinct advantage because they have a homogeneous society, race isn't used as an excuse because they are all primarily one race. You don't have constant bickering, victim narratives, special interests, and entitlement mentalities. Everyone pulls their own weight. Increasing diversity doesn't lowers discrimination, it encourages it. Without significant diversity racial discrimination is diminished.

  • @botchalism Where did welfare come from? I thought we were talking about people of different upbringing...You are obviously trying to find a reason to put me down for what other black people did/do, and you are trying to justify that segregation is the best thing for the world, because there wouldn't be a need for racial discrimination; sadly, people (no matter what race) like you will always find a reason to discriminate, instead of trying to live in harmony. You and Korared love racism.

  • @GoW3Suks4 Actually Japanese are quite racist, if you lived there you ought to have known that already. They have no qualms using the "N" word either. Women who mix with white males are looked down upon and forget about black and asian marriages. Fucking hilarious that you'd even imply that the Japanese aren't racist, you're obviously lying about living there.

  • @Korared Actually I take the part about there being looting in Japan back. While there probably is a minute amount of looting going on, the regions that were destablized the most don't actually have anything left to loot. That's the reason that looting on the gulf coast was limited after Katrina. When Katrina hit places like Mississippi the waters came in and then poured right back out, taking everything with them and leaving nothing to loot. In that aspect, Japan is similar.

  • Very cool. More ppl should see this & feel it; and make the change. Thank u for posting.

  • This is a beautiful song and a powerful video. Thank you, from a transplanted New Orleans girl.
