Well I am Chinese, Hui Chinese! The Hui are the biggest Muslim community in China and we speak Mandarin as our mothertongue. It is the Hui that started the big Muslim uprising in China in 1862, with the aim to establish a Muslim state in western China (Shaanxi, Gansu and Ningxia provinces). The Hui also started in Xinjiang but only after the Hui's initiall succes the local Turks had enaough courage to join us. Khotan is NOT the only city in East Turkistan, but it is the Southern-most. You are making conclusions based just on Khotan region. You say that the language spoken by the original people was Persian (see above!). ONLY of the Khotan region!

Yes, I did, but I also corrected it, by saying that you were right that the Tocharians spoke a Celtic language instead of a Persian one. However the Persian, Celtic and Germanic languages all belong to the same language family (Indo-European) and are NOT related to the Altai language group.
Actually you are right the Tocharians didn't speak a Persian tongue but a Celtic one (look up the site "Everything you Always Wanted to Know About Tocharian". However around the city Khotan manuscripts were found in an East-Iranian language hence forth known as Khotanese. So we have two languages both belonging to the Indo-European family (NOT THE TURKISH) and mummies with European features (NOT TURCO-MONGOLIAN). BTW R1b is found in Iran, but not in Yakuts or Tsaatan (pure Turks).

The Uyghur are not only for 60% non-Turkic European genetic, but they've adopted the Persian culture (dominant in Central Asia before the Turco-Mongolian invasions) incl Islam (Persian only later became Shia). Even the name the Uyghur give their country is Persian (Sherqiye Turkistân, Persian meaning land of the East-Turks), the celebration of Now-Ruz (Persian meaning New Day, the Persian new year).

there's still the way that women and men do not sit together at parties, but I guess it's with older people, like my parents. Then, if the wife, or a daughter has a friend, obviously, a female, the husband/father, does not go into that room. Otherwise, I think it varies a lot. I come from an educated family, women in our family had careers, my aunts, so they looked modern. But still cutting the hair short is discouraged, use of a headscarf when visiting bigger family gatherings is encouraged.

Within a year those Kirghiz wanted to go back, they preffered to live in war torn Afghanistan than in "Turkey". Because the Anatolians were forcing their ways
There are about 1300 Kirghiz living in Karagunduz, they where airlifted there in 1982. Because they were forced to learn Anatolian Turkish and not allowed to wonder around in their Yurts they wanted to leave again after a year. Now things are settled and they've accepted their fade. This is not a lie.

Well I am Chinese, Hui Chinese! The Hui are the biggest Muslim community in China and we speak Mandarin as our mothertongue. It is the Hui that started the big Muslim uprising in China in 1862, with the aim to establish a Muslim state in western China (Shaanxi, Gansu and Ningxia provinces). The Hui also started in Xinjiang but only after the Hui's initiall succes the local Turks had enaough courage to join us. The Manchu revenge was bad, the Hui dropped in Shaanxi with 93%, can you imagine it?

(cont). The Uyghur left N-Mongolia and settled in Xinjiang AKA around the year 900 AD. The present day Uyghur however DO NOT look like Mongolians, that's because they intermingled with those original Caucasians. So we could say that the present day Uyghur are descendants of the original inhabitants, intermingled and Turkonised though. However the language spoken by these original people before the Uyghur came there is indeed a Persian language, look up Khotanese (East Iranian) and you'll see.

As I've put in my comment just look up the terms Eat-Iranian and more specific Khotanese (mind you Khotan is a city in Sherqiye Turkistân), and you'll see the peopel there spoke a Persian language. If you've read my comment you'll also see that I've written that those original people before the Turco-mongolian invasions were blond etc. which off-course the present day Persians are not. Nowhere do I state the Uyghurs to be Persians everywher I've written that they are a result of racial mixing.

Khotan is NOT the only city in East Turkistan, but it is the Southern-most. You are making conclusions based just on Khotan region. You say that the language spoken by the original people was Persian (see above!). ONLY of the Khotan region!

Yes, I did, but I also corrected it, by saying that you were right that the Tocharians spoke a Celtic language instead of a Persian one. However the Persian, Celtic and Germanic languages all belong to the same language family (Indo-European) and are NOT related to the Altai language group.

Actually you are right the Tocharians didn't speak a Persian tongue but a Celtic one (look up the site "Everything you Always Wanted to Know About Tocharian". However around the city Khotan manuscripts were found in an East-Iranian language hence forth known as Khotanese. So we have two languages both belonging to the Indo-European family (NOT THE TURKISH) and mummies with European features (NOT TURCO-MONGOLIAN). BTW R1b is found in Iran, but not in Yakuts or Tsaatan (pure Turks).

No the Tadzjik, Uzbeks and in a much lesser decree the Kazakhs and Kirghiz also have that chromosone in east-Asia (not the Tsaatan, who are part of the Tuvan but so isolated that their culture has not been influenced by the Mongols). The Uyghur are not only for 60% non-Turkic European genetic, but they've adopted the Persian culture (dominant in Central Asia before the Turco-Mongolian invasions) incl Islam (Persian only later became Shia). Even the name the Uyghur give their country is Persian (Sherqiye Turkistân, Persian meaning land of the East-Turks), the celebration of Now-Ruz (Persian meaning New Day, the Persian new year).

there's still the way that women and men do not sit together at parties, but I guess it's with older people, like my parents. Then, if the wife, or a daughter has a friend, obviously, a female, the husband/father, does not go into that room. Otherwise, I think it varies a lot. I come from an educated family, women in our family had careers, my aunts, so they looked modern. But still cutting the hair short is discouraged, use of a headscarf when visiting bigger family gatherings is encouraged.

There are about 1300 Kirghiz living in Karagunduz, they where airlifted there in 1982. Because they were forced to learn Anatolian Turkish and not allowed to wonder around in their Yurts they wanted to leave again after a year. Now things are settled and they've accepted their fade. Turks attacs couldnt reach to Uganda,or they didnt want to take theres.just Ottomans conquered all North Africa,if you check Algeria,Tunisia,Libya and Egytp you will see there is just a few white skinned people and most of people calling them as Turk...Most of grands was Turk.Many times Turk woman was alone in their countries when their man went to conquer new places and that soldiers didnt come back again...all them built new lifes where they went.

We dont tell them raped women,in old times a Turk warrior could have many wifes,when they accepted İslam,they had to limit their wife until 4. This is maybe looking weird to you but it is a fact,you should think in their time's conditions and culture,it wasnt cruel...Most of ancient societies were doing this,but Turks did this job better.

Personally I like the way Ahmadinejad stands up to the West and says what he feels, he speaks for all Muslims, no question. I just wish that he and the regime in Iran would do a little better in managing the economy and the country, so Iranian people's live improved a little more and they would not need to whip up the anti-west rhetoric so much to deflect attention, because it gives Islam and Islamic system a bad name. We need better management from the only Islamic system in function.

Iran is under strict sanctions since 1979.That has helped iran to become "self seficient". Iranian population doubled since 1980. 100% of under 40 yrs old are literate,all vilages have electricity.
Iran's strugle is not "nationalistic", not "Pan-Iranist" .. it is for all ME people, "anti colonial" strugle from China to Mediteranean,on islam "paltform".

For Asia to unite there are three big obstacles, Han Chinese chauvinism, Hindu-Muslim enmity in South Asia and Russian Ultra Nationalism. If people made a pledge to stay put in their own place of historical origin and agreed to free trade, borders could be opened up for a united Asia. It is difficult to unite 4 billion and it is threatening for the rest of the world. But if Europe can have European Union, why we should not dream of an Asian Union?

For Asia to unite, we have to put Russia, China and India in one group. These are nations with past or present hegemony and future dreams of hegemony. We have to put all other smaller less powerful nations of Asia in a 2nd group. Japan tried to be an imperial power, but it is no longer one and it is in a position to lead from the East and Iran can do it from the Western side. Once the smaller nations unite, they can confront the Asian imperialists first and then tackle global imperialists.

As Muslims we cannot support Jalim and Julum on any human beings or nation, no matter if the perpetrator is our "ally". The issue of Inner Mongolia, Tibet and East Turkestan is one and the same, Han Chinese trying to grab resource rich and strategic sparsely populated land and wipe out indigenous culture, so a revolt in the future is not possible. The Han elite thinks and hopes that they can repeat the success as it happened with Manchu assimilation, but I think time is not on their side.
