ACtually, I think he sees them not as budgie eggs, but as rival eggs, to be kicked away. In the wild, some birds lay their eggs in other birds' nests & let 'em raise 'em... sort of birdie welfare cheats.

Some female or male are really nice because they are used to humans and they will let you touch them. I have budgies for 13 years now, i grew up with them and i had several bad and good experience. so don't worry i am tellin' you what i know :D
