  • what gives it such a quick flow? Is it the size of the boiler?

  • Awesome sculpture man! Is that grand Funk Railroad?

  • I'm chatin with a kid that is telling me if you apply for a ethonal permit the ATF comes to your house and tests your still. He is saying if they find you have used it you will be arrested. Also he is claiming if you get caught makin ethonal without a permit you will be facing 25 years in prison. WTF is up with that? Please someone reply to this and tell me he's wrong. I have a hard time believing someone would spend $2000 on something like this and take such a risk.

  • Music is all you can hear..

  • I'm going back and forth between a pot still and a reflux still. They say the reflux stills strip all the flavor also i heard it's not nessasary to use corn in the mash of a reflux still because it will srtip the flavores. I was under the impression that all the flavores were from aging in a barrel. What's your opinion on this? I'm not going to make fuel so i want the best spirits i can make and i figured i would age it to make whiskey and other boozes. Help please. I need some direction...

  • I want one NOW.!!!!

  • Beautiful.

  • peace spiritpipeman

  • if you're going to talk on your videos then maybe try using a soundtrack that's only an instrumental and maybe only a 1/4 of the volume of your voice loudness. Just saying...

Your vids are very good, you guys just need a sound and video mixer.

  • Perhaps there is a version of this video without the music? It would be nice to not have to turn the audio so far down that I can't hear anything at all.

  • e mail me a plan

  • thats what you call a hilibilly fluet where i come from thats some good shit

  • wait until the neighbors ball goes into your yard xD

  • @richnjeanie thats why you gotta be cool with the neighbors and give them a jar...

  • @904RiotFamily haha hell yeah. . . and me ? :\

  • @Jackass610 Grand Funk RR

  • Sorry about that.. check out my other videos.

  • I think you should make the music LOUDER because I can hear someone talking in the background.

  • copper is much preferred over stainless. It removes all sulfides from your final product. The properties of copper are much more suited for distillation. Copper transfers heat much better than stainless also. If you use stainless you much have copper in the vapor path somewhere.

  • Why copper and not stainless?

  • Is there anyway that you could send me the instructions on how to build this? It is a work of art!

  • It would be best to use distilled water or spring water

  • What do you do if you don't have good city water in your home?

  • a true work of art sir! any pointers to where i can get more knowledge about that kind of hardware. you know, for "making fuel and what not" lol

  • did you bulid that yourself? cause if you did, can you send me instructions to build it please? This design if freaking awesome, you got a reflux still built in with a little measuring aparatus for knowing the alcoholic percentage, what is it called?

  • @americanboy130 its called a parrot mate .

  • did you bulid that yourself? cause if you did, can you send me instructions to build it please?

  • It's beautiful man !

  • NO LEAD HERE I only use the best Lead free solder and silver solder. solder all turns a little dark after some time. I AM VERY PROFESSIONAL AND WOULD NEVER USE LEAD...... THERE IS NO LEAD IN ANY OF MY STILLS.

  • !!!!!!!!!!! DO I SEE LEAD SOLDERED JOINTS IN THIS STILL !!!!!!!!!!

    **********************************************************************

LEAD SOLDER IS A HIGHLY TOXIC SUBSTANCE AND SHOULD NOT BE USED IN THE MANUFACTURE OF A STILL OR INDEED ANY VESSEL WHER A CONSUMABLE PRODUCT IS BEING PRODUCED.

For the safe production of Poteen (Moonshine) you should use silver soldered joints. Silver solder is far less toxic than using lead based solder.

  • this is a work of art, brother.

  • The boiler I use now is 26 gallon

  • what size is your boiler? how efficient is this rig?

  • WHat size is your boiler?

  • Not a Still. A work of art...

  • Using propane fish cooker on the video

  • BEAUTIFUL Looking flute!!! What size boiler? and what are you using for heat?

  • I love this vid and design great job ks. Great job!!

  • I am green!

  • Grand Funk Railroad

  • Thanks Anthony..

  • i love this vid man you are a f-cking gem and i love the music

  • What is your ABV% at room temperature ????

  • i can't hear anything you are saying

  • music sucks but good video

  • that is just cheese cloth to make sure no floaty's get in the jar. working outside it seems occasionally a bug will want a sip. This keeps them out of the jar.

  • KS, what is the white cloth in the funnel so and suppose to do? It there charcoal inside it, that's the only thing I can think of.

    Thanks,

  • That's one bad-ass-mama-jama

  • What a genius, amazing. Look at the shotgun!

  • If this was a cleaning run and the huffing behind the parrot vent is just steam from running it hot, fast, how come the Alcohol gauge is showing high proof? I think the video states 88% Were you using alcohol to clean it? not water?

How many runs (slow) to a high proof neutral?

    Im interested

  • E mail me at hillbillystills@gmail.com and I will send you pics of the back of the still

  • Could we see the back of the still?

  • We need more Videos Man!

  • is there any way you could send me some plans for your still? :D please?

  • @stroker383vega The home distiller site has plans of this type of still. Just google 'home distiller' and look through the message board for flute stills.

  • I'am getting 1

  • wow I am impressed!

  • Yes this was cleaning run and I was running really hard

  • this thing is genius. i just thumbed up.

  • slight huffing from parrot vent. over driving her slightly . temp outside was 23 deg F.

  • slight huffing . temp outside was 23 deg F.

  • What a beauty!

There appears to be some gas puffing out from behind the condenser, is this just some huffing from a vent?
